“My wife and I rented this cabin for our first weekend away from our kids since getting married eight years ago. We had an absolutely delightful stay. It is private and the listing could not be more accurate as far as amenities, location, and overall description of the property. If you read Julee's ad and think that this sounds like the cabin for you then it is! I would highly recommend staying at this cabin.”
Located within 4.5 miles of Walmart, lots of restaurants, maybe 15 miles to Lake Cumberland and Laurel lake. Close to Cumberland Falls National Park, Levi Jackson state park and within 80 miles Lexington, Bluegrass Horse Parks. All this plus if you’re lucky to get a slow rain on the tin roof, you’ll relax more than ever!
“This stay exceeded what we expected. We were in a cross-country road trip and needed a quick place to stay after we couldn’t drive anymore. Diann was very accommodating with our very late check-in, taking a little of the stress off of our shoulders after such a grueling day of traveling. We didn’t expect much from a tiny house in a farm location and were so pleasantly surprised to find such a comfortable, modern and beautiful place to lay our heads for the evening. Everything we could have wanted was there - including the best shower I’ve seen in an AirBnB - and we needed that. And cute notes all over to help us figure out light switches, how to operate things, and where to find other things was a nice touch. It felt like a home and not just a place to stay. After only 7 hours there we needed to get on the road again, but driving through the farm at sunrise was a perfect exit. A miniature horse on the property stole our hearts and we had to stop, reverse, and hang out with him before we left. The only downside (and it really isn’t that big of a deal) was finding it in the dark. We had to turn around several times to find the right driveway. We ended up in a neighbor’s driveway and she came outside and said we were probably the 10th car to ask her for help finding it. But even she was very pleasant and kind. Really great experience. Would recommend it to anyone and will keep it mind for sure if we ever find ourselves in this area again.”

“We cherish the memories we made at Cary and Sue's little cabin. It's right in the middle of Daniel Boone National Forest, great location! Pretty quiet and secluded! The dragway Is near by and neighborhood dogs. They are very fun and friendly. The cabin is 15 minutes or less from restaurants/gas/ grocery. It's about 50 min from Cumberland Falls area. Loved everything about the cabin! Very clean and had everything we needed. We just picked up some snacks and food. It has a fire pit, porch, board games, tv, cooler, wifi, books, hammock, trails, and more. The bed is comfy and was big enough for my 6'3 husband. The 1 person shower was big enough for him as well. The hosts were amazing and even offered to meet us at the cabin to show is around. We had an amazing stay. It has inspired us to make our own little cabin one day. We plan to be back!”
