Beach meditation and yoga

Fort Lauderdale has been my home for more than 20 years but I am originally from Jamaica. I have been teaching yoga, meditation, alignment & breathing techniques to help others heal, restore and maintain balance since 2011. As an avid beach lover, I cant think of a better spot to renew, restore and be in the moment. I am the founder and director of the local yoga education program, BecauseYogaHeals that helps others to find calm and steady. I love teaching by the ocean. There are so many benefits of being by the ocean and doing yoga, meditation and fitness classes. My goal is to create a relaxed and inviting space, where no one feels the pressure of performance of the movements. We are a open community of all shapes, colors, sizes and levels. 2 years of experience I'm a certified yoga instructor and a board-certified physician assistant. I have a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and master's degree in medical science. I completed House of Om’s 200 hour yoga teacher training in Bali in 2023.

20 years of experience I cofounded a ladies' fitness program in NY and have led movement workshops in Chicago. I am trained in mindful meditation, stretch, dance, fitness, yoga, and women's wellness. I host events, parties, and classes throughout South Florida.
