This property has 196 live oak trees, rolling terrain, hidden walkways, and beauty everywhere! We love living in the country and so enjoy sharing it with the Guests!!
“We decided we wanted a quick getaway for our anniversary and thought a place in the country would be perfect during this pandemic. Lois and Mike were excellent hosts and were available to us from the time we got on the property until we left. The cottage is located next to the main house and we pleasantly found a bottle of wine and a cheese/sausage/cracker plate in the room. The room was super clean and all the facilities (kitchenette, shower, bathroom, furniture) looked brand new. The king size bed was super comfortable and the “smart” tv had cable and allowed us to access our Netflix account. The property is gorgeous and when we decided to explore, Mike met us with his Kawasaki mule to drive around. They have a old cemetery on site (gravestones from the 1800’s), statues, three ponds, horses, donkeys, lots of sitting areas under the live oaks and a swimming pool. My husband was able to fish and caught several good size bass and a bluegill. The location is about halfway between Brenham and Round Top...probably a 15-20 minute drive to each in opposite directions. We ate at some local restaurants (Funky Art Cafe, Royers, and Feed and Fire Water). They all had excellent food with great atmospheres. Overall, a great place to getaway...especially during this stressful time. Enjoy!”

“This little tiny house is a gem! The land, garden, amenities, and interior design are all so beautiful! The space is clean and spacious enough for 2 or 3 guests. The natural lighting is great to wake up to. The parking is plentiful. Driving into Round Top takes approximately 18 minutes. I love driving on the backroads and looking at all the cows under the oak trees on the way to town. Cammie is a wonderful host and friend. I plan to stay multiple nights next time!”
This log cabin is about 15 minutes from Brenham. It is secluded, and offers a private loft area for relaxing along with an open layout throughout the home for gatherings and entertaining.
“My husband and I stayed at this great country home which is secluded in a beautiful wooded area. We saw beautiful birds, bunnies and deer! Enjoyed sitting on the backporch swing and enjoyed nature! We will stay here again!!!”
