I visited with my husband and daughter and all 3 of us agree that this is one of our favorite all time places. There was a perfect balance of being in nature and comfort. The architecture and natural surroundings are one of a kind. There is so much to explore in the area and the only problem was that we both wanted to stay on the property and explore. I also cannot say enough about how excellent the restaurant was. The food was truly outstanding, one of us is a vegan and it was not problem, the menu changed daily which was incredible and we were able to try different dishes. The care that goes into everything from the thoughtful design, the care and reverence for the environment and every single person that works at Punta Pajaros is incredible and we really appreciated it. Thank you for sharing your special spot with us. We feel so lucky to have visited and are already plotting a return.

Lovely place that is tucked away behind a neighborhood and quiet

Absolutely wonderful stay. Just the weekend getaway my fiance and I were looking for! Kevin & Debra were fantastic, the cabin was super cool, the property was beautiful. I would absolutely recommend.

Nice home me and my husband enjoyed our stay, our host Jeanne is very friendly and responsive , shared a lot of great nearby markets and access to uber. Easy and quick access to vidigal beach, we enjoyed this beach the most it’s quieter and away from the busy beaches. We would definitely return to stay at this gem 💟

Trisha’s place was a great little find! Loved the pool and jacuzzi, as well as the fire pit at night. It was clean and sophisticated, and Trisha communicated with us well.

The place was beautiful. I stayed here with my husband and our dog, and it was perfect for us three. I would have appreciated more transparency on the listing with pet fees. I don’t mind paying pet fees, but I wasn’t aware of them until AFTER I booked the reservation. Other than that small thing, our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.

This was our sixth stay at one of Cheryl’s river houses, and it was just as wonderful as always! Peaceful mornings on the back porch, watching the wildlife, were the perfect escape. My girls had a blast fishing, and I was able to hop on a Zoom meeting with no Wi-Fi issues at all. We never miss a stop at Jo Momma’s—great burgers and under 10 minutes away. Dinner at TJ’s @ The Old Forge in Bandera was delicious (the white gravy is a must!), and Out of the Way Café remains a favorite. Their breakfasts are amazing, and I’m hooked on the chicken tenders and sandwich. Can’t wait for visit #7!

The pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of the land and how cute the Susie is. The house is pristine and has everything you need for a peaceful time away from everything. Dripping Springs is 15 minutes away with many things to keep you occupied.

This was a great weekend get away. Roland is a great host and really responsive when we needed help with anything. The place was amazing and the backyard had the best view. The place was fully stocked with anything you needed to feel right at home. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved this place. Super clean, surrounded by nature, and the sunrise views were stunning. Nights were my favorite—so relaxing with the sounds of coquis and crickets. I traveled solo and felt very safe the whole time. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This place has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, just bring your clothes and food! They’ve even thought of your furry friends, providing a dog kennel with blankets and dog food trays. We especially appreciated the complimentary eggs during our visit. There’s also a great selection of Blu-ray DVDs, which the kids enjoyed a lot. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful family getaway!

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay! The space was clean, cozy, and perfect for unwinding. For sure a place we would come back to!

My husband and I stayed for a weekend away for our anniversary and it was perfect. Just outside of town so it was quiet and peaceful. There was a nice welcome book with recommendations of places to eat and things to see while visiting also. Will definitely be staying again if we visit Waco again!!

This place was so lovely! Very clean and comfy. My boyfriend & I only stayed a night for a quick trip to Sanibel, but I would definitely stay here again if I come back down this way. I liked that it was private and fenced off from the main house, so it didn’t feel like we were intruding into someone’s backyard. The yard itself was also lovely, and included the hammock and hot tub as listed. Andres was very kind and had great communication. Totally recommend! :)

The Glass House is probably the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Nancy is very communicative, and the house manual provided clarity on a lot, with really great recommendations. One thing to really underscore is how remote the property is. You NEED to get groceries before you come and at least have dinner & transportation plans for each night. Also want to underscore that the property (like most of Lake Atitlan) requires physical ability. There’s about 60 steps from the dock to the entrance with no railing. The “walking path” to Jaibalito was very strenuous for me, and is really more of a hike. All in all, a GORGEOUS property, great owners and an unforgettable experience.

This place was absolutely perfect and even more charming in person. The backyard is incredible and truly feels like a private resort. The decor, both inside and out, is thoughtfully done and spot on. The couch is exceptionally comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The location is stunning; we love historic neighborhoods, and this one did not disappoint. I honestly don’t have a single negative thing to say about our stay. It was wonderful from start to finish.

This place was built with the river and sunset in mind! The angle of the house is perfectly set to see the river flow from one end to the other! Two sides of the house has large glass windows where you have a picturesque view from the house and loft. The house smelt and looked squeaky clean inside. The decor was well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. The house is small but very functional for it’s purpose. We felt right at home and comfortable. There were fresh eggs and butter in the refrigerator for breakfast and bread and coffee cake in the freezer which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The kitchen and bathroom was stocked with essentials too. We were just passing through town and hoped for a relaxing place to stay. We were not disappointed! Wish we could have stayed longer! Maybe next time.

Our stay was truly special and exactly what we were hoping for to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was not only just as described, but it had an extra warmth and charm that made it feel like home. It was the perfect mix of comfort, peacefulness, and beautiful scenery—ideal for unwinding and spending quality time together. What really made the experience stand out, though, was Kevin’s hospitality. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time—he even lent us one of his fishing poles and gave us a quick lesson, which meant a lot to us as first-timers. That kind of thoughtfulness made the trip even more memorable. We’re so glad we chose this place to celebrate, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you Kevin!

The place is wonderful, one of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen, wherever you look the view is breathtaking. The house is well-equipped, the kitchen has several amenities, a coffee maker, an air fryer, an excellent gas stove (the only thing missing is a microwave), the shower is a spectacle with a lot of pressure, the TVs are huge and the JBL box makes it a cinema, the internet is also excellent since the cell phone signal doesn't work nearby! It is worth hiring the breakfast that is very tasty and plentiful, delivered to the cabin. It also has very powerful air conditioning, so whether it's hot or cold, you can be very comfortable. Perhaps it would be interesting to put blackout curtains in the room because the time the sun rises the brightness is very strong since the ceiling and walls are made of glass. In short, the place is for those who like peace and quiet in nature, the host is very helpful and kind, we liked it so much that we have already made the next reservation!

I wanted to take my girlfriend to the heart of the hill country so she could really understand the true beauty and this place did not disappoint! Everything was great! Everything! Quiet, quaint and romantic.

The cabin is in a really privileged spot with a full view of the Soldiers and very beautiful surroundings. The outside is the cherry on the cake, with options for bonfires and great outdoor moments. The only complaint is that the kitchen is very small, and as there are no restaurants nearby and we have to cook all meals, I think the space would be better if it were a little bigger. In addition, a sideboard or furniture to arrange personal objects would also be good, since we have to leave the suitcases and all belongings on the bedroom floor. In addition, great communication with the host and the place itself is amazing. It is important to stress the importance of going with a 4x4 car or at least a higher vehicle, as the road there is really a challenge.
