Holiday houses in Latacunga

As other people have said, definitely bring some layers as the lodge gets cold. The views are incredible, the lodge is super clean and cosy and a generally nice place to be. We took a long horse ride up the mountain and had a completely unforgettable experience. 5 stars!

We were a group of 6 that was in town for a wedding. They were very accommodating about our arriving late. Rooms are very cozy and warm (was pretty cold at night). Wonderful comfy place run by great people. We will be back.

Excellent host, there are only positiv things to say. Firstly we could deposit our stuff two nights before the stay. We went on the quilotoa loop and came back after. Secondly, the location is really close to the bus terminal, only 5 minutes to walk. Thirdly the accommodation is very clean and comfortable. But the best thing is the lovely family. They took care about us from the first moment, we felt like at home. Very recommendable!

John was wonderful! He was very communicative and spoke perfect English which made the trip extra easy! The house is very safe, behind a locked street gate, steel exterior door and with video surveillance. When in Quito this has more value than you might realize. Because of this my husband recommends this place to all traveling families. John went above and beyond multiple times to help us; arranged taxis, had food delivered, washed and folded our clothes, and made us feel overly comfortable. This is a hidden gem, especially if you like Egyptian decor.

Dans une vénérable demeure de 102 ans, on est loin des normes 'best western', mais plutôt exactement dans ce que l'on attend de l'Amérique du Sud éternelle. Surtout quand passe sous ses fenêtres et son balcon la parade endiablée et traditionnelle de la ville ! Tout était là pour répondre à mes besoins, lit confortable, douche chaude, cuisine en accès libre, espaces fumeur, localisation on ne peut plus centrale avec tous les services à toute proximité, et surtout des hôtes parfaitement serviables, sympathiques et informatifs tout en garantissant le maximum d'intimité -au point qu'on a presque l'impression d'avoir toute la demeure pour soi. Pour le prix, selon moi, un bien meilleur choix que n'importe quel hôtel de la ville.

My stay at Willy’s place truly made my experience in Cotipaxi. The view of the mountain from the property is incredible. This isn’t just a place to stay, it’s an experience to submerse yourself in the wonderful Ecuadorian culture. They offer delicious meals made my Willy’s wife Grace- who is kind and welcoming just like Willy. He connected us with a guide for our journey to Cotopaxi. On our last night they had some friends/family over to perform a Traditional Dance for us - by the end we were all dancing and laughing. Thank you Willy and Grace!! We will always remember our stay in Cotopaxi!
