“This is one of the best Airbnb places we've stayed in. If I could give more than five stars I would. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed (including sharp knives...always a bug bear of mine). The bed was incredibly comfortable and it the whole apartment was really clean. There is a a seperate utility room located by the apartment which has everything for your laundry. The view was gorgeous. From the higher aspect of the apartment you overlooked Berzocana and the surrounding hills. We were spoilt with outstanding sunsets AND sunrises, all to be enjoyed on the wonderful veranda. The location was fantastic. Not only peaceful and quiet but great for lots of walks which could start from the front door or a short drive. The hosts were more than helpful offering advice on where to eat as well as which walks to do and if it was at all possible to tire of the sunset available on your doorstep (it's not!) They even suggested other viewpoints where we could enjoy this spectacle. I would highly recommend staying in this apartment. It will not disappoint!!!”
“We have spent a weekend with a very close family. We have loved the house, the decoration, the details, the cleanliness. We have not missed anything and we have felt as comfortable as in our own home. The attention we receive on arrival and exit unbeatable. The house is very well located, in the center of town, in a charming street, near the monastery, hostel, restaurants .... A very good choice that certainly I recommend some.”
“Our two week stay in the house of Maite was absolutely great. We happened to be here in November and that is a great season to be in this area. We had very nice wheater, sunny and warm the first week, somewhat more clouds the next week, but both where perfect for the hikes we made. The ‘turning of the leaves’ was stunning, an explosion of colors and our long walks were full of variety and with beautiful views from the top of the mountains. There is also culture: Guadelupe, Caceres and Merida are nearby as well as charming little villages where you can enjoy good food. The view from the house is spectacular, especially the sunsets, Maite is a charming and great host, providing us with everything we needed, helping us to find the best walks to do and even surprising us with delicious cake and bread. We loved the quietness and charm of the place and the lovely little village, the walk to the castle and down to the river and all the other walks you can start right from your doorstep. We hope to come back in springtime.”
