“We truly had a wonderful stay at Cortijo Romero. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this place is perfect. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside and gives on to some spectacular views. The kids had a great time in the pool and we enjoyed eating outside on the patio every meal time. The house is also near some great areas for exploring and sites of natural beauty. David and Simon were attentive, friendly and discreet hosts and made us feel very welcome. The house is sympathetically restored in traditional Andalusian style. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We hope to return soon to explore more of the area. Will be recommending this place to friends and family.”
Casa Sharoza is an attractive and comfortable villa sitting along a country lane between Albox and Los Cerricos. The property commands breath taking views of the surrounding mountains and valley. The terrace overlooking the inviting pool has wonderful views across the valley and towards the Sierra Nevada mountains.
“The villa is brilliant and so well equipped, we had a lovely family holiday there. We went with our two children (ages 12 and 10), they were in the pool nearly every day which was sparkling clean and refreshing. Not to mention the beautiful view from the pool and all around the villa. All the basics were provided in the kitchen like cooking oils, condiments etc. which along with the welcome pack of food was great and very handy to have. We had a couple of issues with the roads near the villa and got stranded on the way there down a dirt track road.. that was through no fault of Ben's though just make sure you pay close attention to his directions and don't use Google Maps! If you stick to the main, surfaced roads around the villa then access is fine, just narrow and of course the fact that it's remote makes it very peaceful. We walked to Los Cerricos a couple of times and had drinks and tapas at Bar Remedios which was really nice. It's about a 35 minute walk from the villa and be sure to take a torch but it's nice to be able to leave the car at the villa and walk sometimes. We also drove to Albox a few times for supermarkets and restaurants, it's about a 40 minute drive but it's a good town to visit for amenities. Most evenings we spent at the villa, sometimes with the bbq on, relaxing under the stars with a few glasses of Sangria. All in all we had a great family holiday, the villa is great value considering it's such a good size, so well equipped and has a lovely, private pool with amazing views!”

“An absolutely brilliant Airbnb stay. Great space, tastefully decorated. Beds super comfy! Bathrooms modern & well-fitted. Kitchen has everything you could need to cook. Tea & coffee provided, thank you! We didn't cook though as Peter & Lisa had given us recommendations and kindly made a booking for us! They even showed us around Orce.
