Francesca Adventure Cave

Our Cueva Aventura offers three troglodyte accommodations: the Cueva Francesca 1/3 people (accessible to people with reduced mobility), the Cueva Lucia 2/5 people and the Cueva Emilia 4/7 people. The Cueva Francesca (50 m2) consists of a private and furnished patio, a living room (equipped kitchen, hollowed sofa, table, chairs, TV), a large bedroom (1 bed of 180 and 1 bed of 90 or 3 beds of 90, supplement for the 3rd single bed), walk-in shower, sink, toilet. Our salt pool (no allergies, no smell but we thank you for the stability and maintenance of the water not to use sunscreens) lined with its small cuevas to shelter your nap as well as the barbecue and the petanque court are to be shared. The price includes bed linen (which is made on arrival), towels, pool towel, cleaning at the end of the stay and electricity. The bio-climatic feature of the cave naturally air-conditions it. Nearest airport: Granada, and it is necessary to have a vehicle. If the weather is bad: Netflix 😉 The little extras so as not to be caught off guard: dishwashing liquid, sponge, dish towels, fresh water, coffee (pods and coffee and filters), tea, sugar, basic condiments (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper)... and small candies ✨✨✨

The village is 5 minutes drive away with 3 bars, serving delicious food. 15 minutes away is the lovely town of Huercal-Overa where you can find all amenities including supermarkets, restaurants and beautiful architecture in the old town where you can while away many an hour with a drink and tapa. The coast is just 40 minutes drive.

Cortijo and Tradition.

Return to the more authentic and reliable past of the Almerian desert farmhouse. The cortijos in Cabo de Gata were autonomous subsistence units that relied on grains, cattle and cacti to survive. This completely renovated and restored home maintains the essence of a traditional and simple life. I teach yoga, music and writing. I know the Cabo de Gata Nature Park perfectly and live near the lead cove and the cove in between.
