The three floors include a fully outfitted kitchen/dining room, sitting room, baths and bedroom with a terrace, and a living room with a sweeping view of Spain from the balcony. The house has a modern kitchen/bath (and furnished with antiques. The house is inside the Castle walls. No parking allowed in castle.

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. Recentemente restaurada oferece um ambiente moderno, acolhedor preservando os traços de outros tempos. Tem um jacuzzi com água que pode ser aquecida na varanda panorâmica.
