Super magical & unique tree house based on sacred geometry located on an active organic farm. It's truly in the trees, not just on stilts. It's composed of 4 rustic open air structures: the Awarenest - a separate 360 view deck 9m (30ft) high, the Bedroom Pod - with hanging bed, desk, northern view of the mountains and half bath with suspended bridge to full Kitchen Pod both at 4.5m (15ft) high and lastly a separate bathroom/shower pod at 3m (12ft). Basically a jungle farm wildlife adventure.
“This private tree house can be an escape from reality, or a cool spot to stay while still getting work done! It's remote enough that you can shower outside without privacy issues, and only hear nature at night. It's functional enough with fiberoptic wifi that you can still get work done on your devices! There's a great desk set up in the bedroom with outlets and a killer view of the jungle. The kitchen is fully equipped with a burner, blenders, coffee maker, pots, pans. We cooked pretty great meals on the days and nights were weren't eating at the Wonderland restaurant next door, or Anamaya 1.5 miles down the road. Joseph is extremely hospitable. He had lots of recommendations of what to do in the area. On his land alone, there are mediation or exercise classes every weekday morning at 9:30am on the gorgeous yoga platform. He has a one wheel (like a motorized land snowboard), which he let us take out and ride around! Definitely have a 4x4 vehicle. Our Rav4 could handle the roads in the area (Montezuma to Santa Teresa), and I was thankful we weren't driving anything less equipped! We will surely be returning to the treehouse!”
This shared dorm room sleeps up to four people. (two bunk beds) This room is screened in with a ceiling fan, located on the second floor of the main building. The room opens up onto large balcony looking into the jungle! We are now offering a local bio-organic breakfast each morning sourced from local farms in Costa Rica. We are supporting local small scale agriculture of Costa Rica. The breakfast is included in each night stay.

“This has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with Airbnb. The place is super clean and the shared kitchen has everything you need. It attracts good people and doesn’t have a party environment in the least. It is the most secure hostel I have ever stayed at. The thing that sets it apart is the management. Vicky and Santi live on sight and were extremely helpful. I arrived super late and they had Maggie wait up for me to make sure I got settled. It’s about 2.5 kilometers south of the hustle and bustle of town. It’s the perfect place to base your trip and relax in a safe place every night. If you are coming to the Santa Teresa area you should stay here!!! Ask for the banana bread at reception for 1000 colones ($1.75). Soooooo yummy.”
