Unique cottage on the shore of Lake Kemijärvi

We offer accommodation in connection with our cottage on the beautiful shores of Kemijärvi. The price of the accommodation includes the use of a sleeping cabin, a separate kitchen cabin, a sauna and an outdoor toilet. The cottage is located 12 km from the center of Kemijärvi. Beds for two in a log cabin. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The host will take care of the drinking water in the kitchen. Wood-burning stove. Washing in the sauna, the use shifts will be agreed with the host. The host uses the other buildings of the place.

Vanha-Seppälä

Built in 1965, the house (3 rooms, kitchen, sauna, toilet) is located in Finnish Lapland in the natural and peaceful village of Kaukonen near Kittilä. Kaukosa is home to the famous Särestöniemi Art Museum. At Villa Magia, you can admire ceramics, unique clothes, and jewelry. In early June, Kaukos hosts the Silence Festival. Near Yllästunturi, Lainio has Snow Village, a snow village and hotel. The distance from the property is 40 km (35 min) to Levitunturi, 26 km to Yllästunturi and 20 km to Snow Village.

Guest house at the Arctic Circle

Located directly on the Arctic Circle with access to the water (Kemijoki), you will stay in the annex of the main house in a 1-room apartment (23 m²) with a private bathroom. The apartment is 12 minutes drive from the airport and 7 minutes from the center. In summer, you can refresh yourself with a jump into the Kemijoki River. A golf course is nearby. In winter, cross-country ski trails and downhill ski slopes are just a few minutes' walk away. The outdoor sauna right by the river can be used for a fee.

Villa Magia Sauna Cottage

Villa Magia is situated in Kaukonen village on the banks of the river Ounasjoki. Sauna Cottage as the other log buildings in the courtyard are from the late 19th century. Sauna is recently renovated to suit more modern comforts. The accommodation includes a convertible sofa, a loft bed, a fridge, a microwave oven, a water cooker, a coffee maker, plates, cups and cutlery. But there is no proper kitchen! And in the Sauna Cottage there is a Finnish sauna, of course with a shower and a toilet.

Kaikki kylän palvelut ovat kävellen tavoitettavissa ja bussit lentokentälle tai juna-asemalle lähtevät parin sadan metrin päästä läheisen hotellin pihalta. Welcome to stay on our local reindeer farm. The ensuite guesthouse is located in our courtyard by the beautiful (Raudanjoki) riverbank. Forrest starts just outside the premises so leave the noise and lights of the city behind and come to enjoy the peace and quiet. Some of our reindeers live by the courtyard, we have winter walking track nearby forest and a perfect location for spotting the northern lights.

On a clear winter evening, you can see the northern lights while sitting on the couch. Or what it would sound like to sit in a hot tub in complete silence. (hot tub is not possible below zero celcius)

Nice, two-person sauna cottage in the mountain landscape by the lake. Barbecue hut and rowboat available on site. The lake is full of fish, you can catch whitefish, perch and pike. The cottage is on the edge of Finland's largest wilderness area. (Lemmenjoki National Park, Pulju and Pöyrisjärvi Wilderness Area)
