Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Black River Road Retreat

Private home on 40 acres surrounded by woods and wetlands on the Black River Rd. National Scenic Byway. It's a secluded place with lots of peace and quiet to be had. This is a perfect base for exploring the Northwoods with Copper Peak just 1 mile north, and 5 waterfalls on the 5 mile drive to Black River Harbor. It's a great place to get away and into Nature. There's a big yard with ample parking, playset and space for trailers. Trails in the back yard with a nice fire pit too!

Our place is a back-to-nature farm setting. . You’ll love our place because of the rustic location, the farm ambiance, and the beautiful outdoors. The Loft is comfortable and has one queen bed, one standard double bed and a couch. There is a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Dogs are welcome with prior approval/notification and there is a $15 dollar cleaning fee. Dogs must be leashed at all times for their safety (See further information under Neighborhood description)

A short drive to the Porcupine Mountains and directly off the ATV/snowmobile trail that runs through Marenisco.
