Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Lake Zurich

Milan's apartment is amazing and he is very hospitable and friendly. It is located in a large square in the heart of the old town with dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance. The Zurich HB train station is a 10-15 minute walk and there is a full-size grocery store a few hundred meters away. We did not expect to need AC in Zurich in June, but the temperature was above 90F for two days, so we were very happy to have AC in Milan's apartment - many rentals do not have it. Note that the unit is on the 5th and 6th floors (plus a rooftop terrace on the 7th), and there is no elevator. Milan's family owns the cafe on the ground floor, and they graciously volunteered to carry the heavy luggage upstairs. If you have an early flight on your way out of Zurich, you may have to carry your own luggage down, but gravity helps. The view from the rooftop is spectacular, the kitchen is well-appointed, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are modern. Very highly recommended.

Marion ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und hat uns zum Check-In persönlich begrüßt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Direkt vor der Eingangstür ist ein privater Parkplatz für die Wohnung. Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden und können die Wohnung wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Prije svega, odličan i vrlo susretljiv domaćin. Riječima se ne može opisati sve što ovaj smještaj nudi. Smještaj nudi puno više nego što je na slikama prikazano, te je opremljen apsolutno svime što čovjeku može zatrebati. Najbolji smještaj do sada u kojemu smo odsjeli. Sigurno ćemo se vratiti :)

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

Great place, exactly as described. We would stay here again in spring, winter, or summer! We happened to have an unusually hot June weekend in Zurich (over 90°F), and for that reason I would maybe pick somewhere with air conditioning in the future during the summer months. It is listed as such in the description, so my own fault! Otherwise a wonderful place, neighborhood, and host.

This was my second stay—and for good reason! I loved it the first time and couldn’t wait to come back. The check-in was super easy, and the apartment has everything you need to feel at home, even for a longer stay. A fully equipped kitchen (with all utensils, a coffee machine, and even a barbecue), cozy beds, a spacious living room, and the most breathtaking views from every room. It’s also very accessible—there are no thresholds in the rooms, and you can easily get from the street to the apartment without any steps, which is great for families with kids or anyone with mobility concerns. Highly recommended and definitely a place I’ll return to again!

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Our stay at Janine‘s home was beyond anything we could have imagined. The setting is heavenly. We hardly wanted to leave the house. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing for hiking, which was the purpose of our trip. Janine greeted us when we arrived and spoke with us in perfect English, which was very helpful. Janine was helpful all throughout our stay giving us hiking recommendations as well as local eateries! The pictures on the website absolutely do not do the home justice. Every single person we met in the area was beyond kind and friendly.

Spectacular location and a house that matches.. we had a lovely time, very well designed and built house, takes fully advantage of the beautiful scenery out side, highly recommended.. PS.. this applies for only during May-June ‘25 as the road in front of the house is getting repaired, it is important to note that there is only walking access to the house. This means that guests will need to carry their luggage for certain sections of the route from the parking lot.. just to provide clarity there is no option to drag your wheeled luggage to the house, it will need to be carried. Just wanted to provide this clarity as I thought this was assumed by us.. although the host had communicated to use about the access but this aspect was not clarified.

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Zeit im Bijouhaus (2 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder). Das Bijouhaus war sauber, frisch, hell und erzeugte bei uns sofort eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Viele Freizeitaktivitäten sind schnell und unkompliziert mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die besten Erdbeeren aller Zeiten sind im Hofladen (5 Minuten Gehdistanz) erhältlich :) Bei Anliegen und Fragen reagierte Andrea schnell und persönlich. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit, wir können das Bijouhaus sehr weiterempfehlen...

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

Wir waren für einen Kurztrip mit dem Oldtimer in St. Peterzell um von dort aus die Gegend zu erkunden. Das reizvolle Toggenburg, den Bodensee, St. Gallen. Das alte Haus ist liebevoll und und sehr originell renoviert und wir haben es genossen darin zu wohnen. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden und sogar mehr, wie z.B. Schallplatten, schon ewig nicht mehr gespielt :-) Das Haus blitzsauber und in jeder Ecke entdeckten wir wieder neue schöne Dinge. Menschen über 1.80 m müssen in den Zimmern den Kopf einziehen (klassisches Haus eben für die Gegend...) Adeline hat sich sofort erkundigt, ob wir alles hätten und war sofort erreichbar für Fragen. Wir würden wieder kommen, herzlichen Dank!

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Barbara war sehr freundlich und ihre Anweisungen zum Check-in waren sehr klar und einfach. :-) Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt als Familie mit unserer Hündin, welche freundlicherweise sogar einen Napf und eine Hundedecke bereitgestellt bekommen hatte. Das Schlafsofa war ebenfalls gemütlich. Alles in allem empfehlenswert!

Our family had a great stay at Tina’s place. The home was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. All the necessary amenities were provided, including fresh towels, clean bed sheets, and linens. My daughter especially loved the cozy bunk bed—it was a big hit! We would definitely recommend Tina’s place to anyone who doesn’t mind a short bus ride from the main station.

Wir hatten lange nach einer modernen Wohnung für unseren Urlaub am Vierwaldstättersee gesucht und sind dann auf Roshans tolle skandinavisch eingerichtete, helle und freundliche Wohnung gestoßen. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt, es ist alles da, was man braucht - kompakt, hochwertig und gemütlich. Matratze ist hervorragend, wir haben super gut geschlafen. Die Dachterrasse liegt wunderschön zum Waldhügel hin und man hört viel Natur. Das ist wirklich toll. Das Dach im Rücken schützt im großen und ganzen vor den Geräuschen der am See liegenden Straße und Bahngleise. Die Kommunikation war vorbildlich und super freundlich! man ist schnell zu Fuß am See, Schiff, Bahn und im Ort mit Bäcker, Metzger und Lidl. Logistisch top gelegen! Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen und kommen selbst gerne wieder.

Wir durften 3 sehr schöne Tage bei den lieben Gastgebern geniessen. Nach einem freundlichen Empfang und einem gründlichen Check-in waren wir bestens informiert über die Unterkunft und alle Möglichkeiten. Der Pool und der nahegelegene Rhein boten sich bestens für eine Abkühlung an. Neben dem bequemen Bett schätzten wir auch die weitere hochwertige Ausstattung sehr. Es stimmte von A-Z, herzlichen Dank

Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und in gutem Zustand beziehungsweise sehr ordentlich und sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gemangelt und wir haben den positiven Geist der Vermieter im Haus direkt gespürt. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Beautiful apartment located right on the water. This was an amazing experience for my family. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! We had an amazing time! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Amazing views and excellent location.

My family had a lovely stay here! Remi’s instruction is clear and detailed. His place is clean and we were able to cook a few meals. Easy transport from the train station via walking or bus+short walk. Very close to Museggmauer, which was fun to visit! Remi’s place is in a quiet neighborhood but close to all the attractions. Great location!

A wonderful location and perfect set-up with everything you need. Friendly host and great apartment. Highly recommend!
