I cannot recommend this place enough!! First off the privacy and the view was spectacular. We were greeted by the cutest dogs! We were able to rest and enjoy the fire pit while lying on the hammock. And the host took us around to see his goats, horses and dogs! It was so enjoyable! I will recommend it to anyone who needs to escape from the city life!

This little cabin up in the mountains was wonderful for two people! It was very clean and quiet. The host David was very responsive and helpful from my first inquiry to my last! He and his wife were very accommodating and thoughtful! Having access to the private lake area was perfect for us! A beautiful, relaxing stay! Thank you to David and his wife!

I stayed here for five nights on a work trip. was really great. cozy, log cabin atmosphere. looks just like the photos. somewhat private. I heard roosters in the morning and a donkey in the evening. I'll stay here again if I return to the area.

I hesitate to tell everyone how stellar this place is! It's magical, perfect in every way. This hidden gem is the perfect getaway. I'd love to keep it to myself and a secret, but it's just too good to not share.

Walter gave us an amazing place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Very secluded and private, which is something we were looking for. We felt right at home when we walked in and wish we could take this cabin back home. Everything was very tidy, well organized and we didn’t have to go looking for anything. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it rained a majority of the weekend, which we were bummed about, but that didn’t stop us from sitting outside and listening to the sound of the river, rain and frogs. Very peaceful! Being so close to the river it made it very easy and quick to run down and throw a few casts in the river. Thank you Walter for the very comfortable stay. This place is on our list of places to hopefully return to!

The tiny house was comfortable for two adults, and had everything needed for a quiet peaceful vacation. The parklike setting was beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed watching the birds and ducks and listening to the bullfrogs at night. I look forward to staying there again during our next trip to Valdese NC.

No actual electricity! Not a problem, but less apparent on listing! They accommodate appropriately (generator charging and a fan to be used and headlamp for walk to bathhouse). Overall, wonderful stay and great - just would like more realistic expectation on listing :)

We had a wonderful stay from May 20- May 25, 2025. Everything was just like the pictures promised. The sunroom & back porch with the rockers were great additions. Location was convenient to our family in Hickory, NC. Hopefully we will be able to stay there whenever we come to NC.

Nice, clean Tiny Home for our stay! We enjoyed the cleanliness and ease of entry. Would def stay again when visiting the area with family.

The caboose is adorable and Evelyne is a great host. Everything was exactly as described and even cuter in person. This is a great location for anyone visiting TIEC or the local wineries.

It was an amazing stay. It was incredibly peaceful and had plenty of river space to spread out. Everything was very clean and organized. Samantha, who did my mani/pedi and hair braiding, is an exquisite human being and her presence made my stay even better! Highly recommend if you enjoy a simple, clean, nature focused vacation! Will be back!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa's cabin. It was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed. Lots of character! The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet, peaceful and a beautiful setting. The screened- in porch out back was great. We drank our coffee there in the mornings. We will be coming back next time we visit this beautiful area!

We highly enjoyed the cabin. So close to great hikes and restaurants. Cabin was very peaceful. We loved the porch and listening to the great variety of birds. Cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our time in the cozy cottage, close to the highway and easy to zip into the city. Randy went above and beyond to help me out when I left something behind!

Pie in the sky was perfect for our family of 5! The views were absolutely incredible. It had everything we needed to cook, relax and stay for the weekend. Our family has stayed at dozens of Airbnb’s and this was one of our favorites. Highly recommended!

Mena is such a great host! The cabin had everything you could possibly need, all the necessary small appliances you could ever use, well stocked spice tray plus much more! Not to mention, the cabin is decorated so perfectly and the deck is extremely inviting to just sit and read or just enjoy the view of the lake. The dock is perfect for sun-bathing or fishing. Perfect getaway. I will be back!

Another great stay at Jill’s cozy cottage! Well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Would recommend if you are visiting the Salisbury area.

Karen’s home is beautiful! The pictures didn’t compare to how amazing the home looks in person. The back yard is private and has everything you could need in a getaway. The hot tub was great. Karen has offered a lot of options with things to do while you’re at her Airbnb. There is a projector screen on the back patio with multiple chairs to enjoy a movie outside and Karen even offers heated blankets for when it’s cold! All around we loved our stay at carol’s cottage and will definitely be planning to come back. Karen was respectful, reasonable & attentive as our host. I would recommend to anybody to come stay here. It’s worth the trip!

What a delightful gem located a short distance away from West Jefferson. Peaceful, pastoral, private setting. Gravel road and parking, but easy to access. Maritza’s Cabin is new and has all the things we needed for a short stay in the mountains. Stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, small coffee, pot, glasses, dishware, etc. For those that count on microwaves, there was not one. It was not a problem for us. Downstairs bed, all towels and linens were good. We had issues with Wi-Fi, but really didn’t need it for a night. Great cell service there. Maritza was very responsive and I would recommend this cabin if you are in the area or thinking about heading that way! When we asked if we could buy some eggs from Maritza, she happily had a few delivered to our front porch for free . Loft sleeping area is a steep ladder and low ceiling, as clearly pictured in the description. Probably best for children or very agile people.

Perfect spot for a one night stay, close to everything we wanted to see.

We had a great time. It was extremely relaxing and the atmosphere with the animals made it unique and fun. The hosts were very kind and helpful and we will come back again. My wife already misses patty, bear and sky. They developed a quick bond based on hugs and treats. I would recommend staying here even if it is a little out of your way.

This is the best place to stay if you want a private, hospitable, and scenic unique spot. Austin and Bonny are great hosts. The fountain, rootball, bridge, and stream are all huge perks to the already amazing house and bathhouse. Close proximity to downtown Greer, Spartanburg, and Greenville. I cannot say enough good things about the hosts and place!

Absolutely loved Donna’s space!! The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need! Great location very close to downtown. Couldn’t have been a better experience we didn’t want to leave!
