We stayed at Sonya’s place for 2 nights. It was as described in the listing and perfect. The fireplace and electrical heaters worked well and were very helpful in weathering the cold. Overall, an amazing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor fire pit was wonderful, the place was very well stocked, and very peaceful.

Wonderful location with amazing views to wake up too, great house nicely decorated and with everything you need . Janet was very responsive and happy to help. We will be back :)

The house is located in a quiet area, and is great value for the area. It’s also well equipped (including kids toys in one of the rooms). It was nice to be able to have a washer (detergent included) as well as a fireplace. We felt really cosy in the house, once we had the fire going! Definitely recommend. Thanks Ben!

What a great place to base yourself and explore all that the surrounding area has to offer. So close to Omarama and of course Aoraki. So well equipped with everything you need and in great condition. Would definitely recommend

If you are looking for quintessential rural Aotearoa this is it! My opinion is that any time of year this would be an amazing place to stay. We loved the open fire, size of the rooms and the surrounding landscape. This is an active farm so there is tractor noise, dog barking and even a large Angus bull out the window, so enjoy it is all amazing. Rachel is lovely and extremely helpful. We will be back!

Macy’s place was clean, well equipped and in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay!

Travelling with 2 trailers and dogs meant this was a great place to stay. Lots of room in the huge back yard well away from the main area of town so we felt the motorbikes on the back of one trailer were going to be secure. We loved the fire- easy to use. Comfortable bed. Good communication with owners made this stay easy.

I was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for the night. Whilst there was not a lot to do in the immediate area it was pretty with heritage buildings and some walks and it was within easy driving distance of Lake Tekapo.

Das Haus ist ein typisches Haus für die Gegend. Wir waren nur 2 Nächte dort und haben uns auf Anhieb Zuhause gefühlt. Am zweiten Tag haben wir eine Wanderung am Fluss gemacht, abseits der Touristenströme. Gerne wieder!

We love staying here, this was our second visit and I'm sure we will be back again. Such lovely hosts, excellent prompt communication and they went above and beyond to make sure the fire was lit and the house was toasty warm on arrival.

Steve's place is very spacious, clean and tidy. Easy to get to. Well equipped. Quiet neighbourhood. The only problem, which has been mentioned before, and which I hope Steve can fix, is the very low hot water pressure. The shower mixer is very difficult to adjust to get the temperature right - the water coming out is either very little and far too hot or more plentiful and cold. But we enjoyed our stay. This is a very simple cottage, comfortable, warm and welcoming. The outside sitting area is a lovely addition and an enjoyable space to enjoy a cup of tea while being able to view the spacious private back garden. If you enjoy the simple things in life I highly recommend Memories on Maryburn.

Lovely spot with everything you need. Perfect location near supermarket & not far to town. House was warm & inviting. Hosts were friendly, helpful & went the extra when we needed to get in earlier. So grateful. We would absolutely stay here again. Spa was such a treat too!

A beautiful home with a truly spectacular view!! It felt so peaceful to sit in front of the fireplace and just look out over the lake. It was more than enough space for the 5 of us to really relax. Hot tub was a great bonus!

Loved turning up on cold winters day to the hut where they had stoked up the fire before we arrived so it was very cosy....and fired up the hot tubs so we could enjoy these too! Many thanks for an enjoyable stay :)

Perfect spot for a short and very last minute getaway trip! Super private spot under the stars. So relaxing and we felt spoilt with the breakfast provided. Lovely property too, very modern & chic. Definitely one of the most comfiest/luxe beds! Had everything we needed there and more. Will be our go to for future stays! Thank you 😊
