Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Tansi

Cabin was perfectly located. Short drive to Fall Creek Falls. My son got married at the falls and this space was clean, well equipped and beautiful. Perfect relaxing weekend!!

What an absolutely INCREDIBLE spot! We had such a wonderful time at Brad’s cabin. The views were breathtaking, and there were so many cozy places to unwind. Our dog, June, had the time of her life—especially meeting sweet Dudley! We enjoyed exploring the nearby trails and watching the storms roll in over the mountains from the deck—truly a spectacular sight. Evenings were spent relaxing in the hot tub and cooking in the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. This place truly exceeded all our expectations. It was the perfect getaway to relax and recharge. Brad was incredibly responsive and a fantastic host!

This is a beautiful home tucked away on a rural mountain. The host has great attention to detail. Everything we could need was provided and the view was as advertised. This home is cared for well and the hosts make great effort to accommodate visitors. We chose it for a week of quiet getaway from life’s business and were not disappointed.

Amazing place to get away with the family. So many activities on the property that the kids wanted to be outside from the moment they woke up until they went to bed. Will definitely be back!

The nearby waterfall we went to was beautiful and can not wait to come back to see more of the local nature. The host was extremely helpful with suggestion of sites and very responsive to questions. Excellent host, friendly and ready to be helpful. Place was clean, quiet, and fit a rather large family. The view was lovely but it did rain a lot and unfortunately no star gazing (not their fault). The beautiful forest does obstruct the view of the lake alot but it is insanely quiet and peaceful. the deck balcony and hot tub is a great spot to hang out. It is a tough hike down to the lake with no real spot to really sit and enjoy the lake when you get to the bottom. A much needed and relaxing trip to take with the family. One weird critique though, we aren't a tall family and it just seemed like everything we were trying to reach was super high up. Ladder is provided which is nice but feels weird to use to plug in electronics for the kids like chrome cast and Nintendo switches. Also as a soft sleeper myself half the beds are pretty firm except the downstairs bed which is super soft and comfortable pick that one lol. overall worth the money and a great trip with the family

Peaceful & quiet! Bed was very comfortable . Hot tub was great! Didn’t really use the well stocked kitchen because there are great restaurants a short drive away. Great location for our needs!

Very nice, not lots around so plan fun activities! Overall a clean and calm place we absolutely loved it!

Anita’s place was a beautiful and peaceful getaway! The view of the mountains was stunning, and we were lucky to catch some rain during our stay—it created a magical smoky effect between the mountains that made the scenery even more breathtaking. The cabin is very private and quiet, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Mrs. Jane was so kind and helpful. We loved the place, location is amazing and the pool was perfect for my kiddos. We will definitely be back!!

this our second stay at Katherine's and we've found it to be the perfect fishing spot for our family. it's beautiful and affordable.

We were in the area to visit a family member in the hospital. The Watts Bar River Retreat provided a peaceful and comfortable place to stay and rest up. The cabin was very clean, well stocked and just as the pictures show. One thing I did not realize from the photos is that there is a stand of trees across the driveway from the front porch, so when you are sitting on the porch, you have screening from the road and other houses. It was very relaxing to sit on the rockers on the porch.

We enjoyed our stay at Anna and Gary’s. Their hospitality was amazing, including leaving us a a fresh loaf of bread and bottle of wine. The view of the lake from the house was breathtaking! It was the ideal place for us to unwind and relax. The place was well-stocked with a lot of food and snacks. The house was also very clean and had everything we needed for the stay.

Head and shoulders above the rest! Much better than the typical Airbnb with five star ratings. This is a true five star rural destination stay, not a stopover getting a courtesy five-star rating. No comparison with the typical highly rated Airbnb - this place is special. The cabins are well made with rustic feel - not old & worn with glossed over touches. Dan & Joann have done wonders with funky & country decor touches inside & out. And the farm is spectacular - mowed shorter grass walking paths, nearby stream, much wildlife. I had a fabulous time with picking & singing tunes each evening with Dan & friends! And I'm no pro, but the whole experience was comfortable, warm & inviting. I have new friends in Dan & Joann - maybe even new family! I'll be back!

We had a great stay for one night while on a road trip from Ohio to Florida. The house was comfortable and clean and had all the amenities. As described, cell service was spotty but internet worked fine. The place was easy to get to and find. My only recommendation to travelers would be to download your map on your GPS ahead of time, however for us once we got close to the main road we didn’t need it. Overall, I would recommend this place for a calm and comfortable stay for fellow travelers.

searched for a peaceful private tucked away spot for a short getaway and this place was perfect and provided all we needed. it's proximity to town and fun along with its price point checks all the boxes. the house is well furnished and all the needs are met and well thought out. Ours was a short stay but given more time we would have had the opportunity to take advantage of all the place has to offer. the only negative there was for us was being just the two of us that television upstairs would have been nice but I understand the positives that set up creates for larger families staying. can't wait to find an opportunity to come stay again. thanks for a nice weekend!

We stayed at this cabin with our immediate family the night before our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful setting and cozy interior helped ease any pre-wedding nerves. It was exactly the kind of calm and comfort we needed before such a big day. The cabin had plenty of space for all of us — clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need. There was a wonderful mix of rustic charm and modern touches that made everyone feel at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all got a great night’s sleep — which says a lot when you’re hours away from a wedding! This cabin gave us the perfect setting to slow down, connect, and make lasting memories with our loved ones before one of the most important days of our lives. We’ll never forget it — and we can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a peaceful, meaningful place to stay.

The cabin was beautiful and in such a peaceful location! We had a relaxing weekend and enjoyed the scenery and the uniqueness of the cabin. The entire cabin was clean and was laid out very well. Mike was great at responding and check in and check out was very easy.

From first communication richard was quick to respond,friendly and informative. Followed up during our stay to determine if there were any concerns. All went smoothly. Great host, great property. Would definitely rent this home again

Thank you for the beautiful cabin. It was a little difficult to find as we arrived in pouring rain and the evening. Host answer my messages immediately as we could not find the cabin. She guided us very well. The volunteer fire department sign is a good landmark. Cabin was roomy and comfy.

If you're looking for a clean, quiet, rustic place with no TV this is your place! This is my second stay and will book again next time I'm visiting the area.
