Duncan Creek House

Contact me if you’d like a longer term stay and I’ll open up more dates in January, February,March & April. This is a cozy house located on Duncan Creek where you’ll hear the lovely sound of rushing water and will likely spot some eagles. It is located within walking distance of Leinie’s Lodge, Irvine Park, Olson’s Ice Cream Parlor and local hiking/bike trails. Dogs are welcome. The cancellation policy is set as “Strict”, but I’ll give full refunds if you cancel at least 14 days in advance.

Enjoy the modern kitchen with granite counters. In-floor heat to keep you cozy & warm. Relax in the deep jacuzzi bath or outdoors in the year-round hot tub. For more sleeping privacy, there is a queen bed/futon/bath/kitchen apt above garage (see last 5 pictures) which is a one time additional $150 fee.

Our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home comes with a full kitchen, a deck overlooking the lake, private dock, fire pit, 2 queen beds, a hot tub, and a 4 season room. Hill Street House is the quintessential river-town residence, located within walking distance of Fountain City's quaint downtown, legendary pubs, and riverfront, but just far enough from the highway and trains to still get a good night's sleep. Perched snuggly on the bluffside overlooking the Mississippi River, you'll see an ever-changing panorama of river boats, barges, and birds in flight against a backdrop of Minnesota bluffs in the distance and a jumble of rooftops below.
