Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Lastly this is a lake front property, especially in the spring and summertime there can be a lot of flying insects.

The Lakeside Lodge is a custom, hand-crafted home built three years ago with a family friendly atmosphere in mind. It sits on three acres on Lake Palestine and has plenty of lounging and dining areas on the wraparound porch. This is the perfect weekend retreat to make precious friend and family memories! Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This tree house is sitting on stilts among trees where a beautiful oak tree comes through the elevated outside dining patio area. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
