Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Päijänne

Lovely little apartment in a quiet area within walking distance of Tampere city center. Points for a particularly good bed and air conditioning. Parking in front of the apartment is a very good addition.

Incredible lakeside lodge just an hour's drive from Helsinki is a dream. Had a hire car and the place was easy to find — stunning views, top-notch facilities, and so peaceful. It tempted four slightly mad Brits to dive into the lake and hit the sauna — pure Finnish therapy! Markus is a fantastic host, offering not just a beautiful place to stay but also helped with local info.

Perfect stay for a bigger group. Also allows for multiple cars to be parked, just need to leave enough space for the people living in the house next door. Close enough to the center so Uber was very affordable to use since we did not want to walk at night. The surroundings seem peaceful though.

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

I would stay again at this accommodation. Everything was fine, just like last time. Of course, now there were more pillars on the beach, etc., which were challenging for my other dog, but this is not the fault of the host.🙂🙂 Quick walk to the Pavilion where I was at our company's stand. Everything was neat and the job was done!

We had a lovely stay (6 days) and were amazed by the clean and cozy apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Niko responded very quickly to our questions. We had a great time and would come back any time.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It was in a great location close to the harbour and station. The communication with the host was fast and good. We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to come back when we visit Jyväskylä again.

The view from the balcony is incredible! Jussu lives in the same building so he was available quickly when we arrived. The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed and Jussi offers, in the living room, either an extra bed or a sofa bed. Pets are welcome, and bowls are even provided. There are more than enough things to have breakfast: cereals, milk (normal and oat), bread, yogurt, juices, butter, biscuits, bananas and also everything you need to cook. We were very well received🙂. In addition, the apartment is super quiet. The accommodation is located about 10 minutes from the city centre by car. Jussi offers a private parking space on site (she has a motorhome). I can only recommend Jussi's apartment, luxury! Thank you very much 🙂

Perfect listing! It was better than the photos suggested. Even though it was a Venetian weekend, we were left alone for the entire long weekend. On the pier, we were able to admire the Isokoskelo family and the swan couple with their child. The water was clean and clear, the steam in the lakeside sauna was great!

We had a great stay at Tarja's cabin. The spacious yard and cozy cabin created an environment where we could relax right away. The sauna was great and we especially enjoyed swimming in the lake. Very nice kitchen to prepare your own foods. Bed was comfortable and the place had a nice homey feeling. Highly recommend!

The cottage was very cozy and we enjoyed it very much. The abundance had an atmospheric lake view, and we also loved the sandy beach. Great steam in the sauna. A big plus was the tennis court where we got good games! 😊

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

I loved the place! Beautiful scenery for idyllic seductive people. Peaceful and private setting! Rowing on the lake was comfortably done on a boat in use. The separate sleeping area was really good and the bed bigger than normal was a big plus. The sleeping area was crowned by an air source heat pump that was well adjusted to a quiet sleeping setting. We slept really well in the listing! The sauna was really neat and atmospheric. The carrying water brought real cottage vibes. The cooking was a great success in a diverse summer kitchen. The home has a large deck and a large covered area where it was nice to hang out, both in the rain and the shine. Our dog was also very comfortable at the property. Communicating with Marko and Marjo was really easy and natural! Messages were always responded to, and everything went so smoothly. We highly recommend this place!

This is a traditional cottage in a beautiful location. Especially the lakeside sauna and terrace were an excellent place to relax and enjoy the view. The wood fired sauna worked very well, and also the nearby fire pit for cooking. It’s roughly a 40km drive through beautiful Finnish countryside via Verla to the hiking trails in Repovesi national park - well worth the trip.

Beautiful location! The morning sun over the frozen lake was lovely to wake up to.
