Irene's house was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. We had a great stay and especially enjoyed the hot tub after a day of cross-country skiing.

We had such a lovely family retreat. The lot size was VERY spacious and had room for many outdoor activities. That said, it would have been amazing to have a fenced in yard for our dogs, but we knew what we were getting into. Everything was clean and organized. Being right on the water was amazing! The kids were able to play by the shore and we were all able to enjoy the water. We enjoyed our stay very much! Home had everything we needed. It was in a wintery woodland setting. We would recommend the home to our friends and family.

Walking the dog through the little town of Virgil and exploring the local businesses there and in NOTL was terrific! It's about a three minute drive to Niagara's best winery (Peller). Our boys absolutely loved the gaming garage. We used this as a family retreat and the way John provided for that was just perfect! They made me buy a ping-pong table just like his when we got home. Thanks, John, for a wonderful stay!

The house was super clean bright and cute decor. Had plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. Loved the patio view out front and the peaceful and private back yard! We will definitely be back!

This house is such a great value! Newly renovated with classically modern appointments the house has been wonderfully designed/decorated. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it’s very peaceful yet located what feels like minutes from everything. All of the hosts are super responsive and thoughtful. Everything was perfect with our stay. 10/10 would recommend 119 Idlewood.

Our belated Galentine’s stay was magical! Dean made sure the hot tub was pristine for us because he knew it was one of the things we were looking most forward to. He answered all the questions we had very quickly and was a great responsive host. The welcome packet was so thoughtful and funny. We really appreciated all the work put into this home. The couch was so comfy for our blind date with a book theme and we all had a great time! We would love to stay again!

I had an incredible stay at Tal’s home! From the moment I booked, they were extremely accommodating, easy to reach, and incredibly responsive to any questions I had. Our stay was just perfect at Angela's home. it was big enough for 10 of us. The dining room table was harvest style so meals were had together. lots of bathrooms. Well stocked home and the location is stunning. Definitely worth rebooking

Tats place was great, well maintained. There could be additional seating in the lounge to accommodate more people. There was a small issue with water but Tat was quick to respond and resolve. Overall our stay was comfortable and would recommend

First of all this place is absolutely STUNNING! The views are unmatched being right on the lake. The house is very peaceful, plenty of space for my family of 5. The game room was a huge hit for my teenage boys! The steam shower in the master bathroom was incredible since it was so cold during our stay. The house immediately like you are at home when you walk in. This is one of the very best air bnbs I’ve stayed in. The host was very responsive and even gave us a late check out. The location is about 25 mins to Niagara Falls and 45 mins to Niagara on the lake. Very close to grocery shopping and stores. It feels secluded which is nice for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals at home and the beds are comfy and warm. I would definitely stay here again and again.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

We recently stayed at a cabin that was an absolute gem! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing under the stars, and we had an amazing movie night in a cozy setting. One of the best parts was getting to feed and take pictures with the friendly horses and ponies on the property. It made our getaway truly special. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature!

Thank you for the host's prompt response and for helping us with the campfire. They were very kind and quick to assist. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful river backdrop.

This was a fantastic weekend getaway for us and everything was just as described. Very, VERY nice. One small suggestion: perhaps one of those big thermometers nailed to a tree to fond the AM temp?

We truly enjoyed our stay, we would love to come again! The jacuzzi was right next to the cabin which made an easy and quick walk to the warm tub in the cold weather. There was lots of green grass for my dog to explore and the cabin was so cozy and warm. The heat was already running when we arrived which was wonderful and we felt right at home. The property is huge so we were able to get my dog some great exercise. The breakfast was eggs, hash browns and a wonderful loaf of banana bread. The hosts were responsive and attentive. Great experience!

We had an AMAZING stay!! The house was absolutely gorgeous, the space was so inviting and comfortable. It was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend! Close to Canadaguia which has many options for eating and entertainment! Rachel was super fast to answering my questions both before booking and while we were staying at the home! We had an incredible stay! The place itself is amazing, so peaceful, and the decor and details around the house makes it feel extra cozy. Everything was very tidy and clean, and they have pretty much all the kitchen utensils you may need and more lol If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place!

We spent three nights at the Nook as a winter getaway in early March. We felt at home as soon as we walked in - the space invites relaxation. I loved all the natural light and the high ceilings. It was very clean and as a former barn it wasn't at all drafty. The gas stove in the living room kept the place very warm and cozy. We enjoyed using the sauna and hot tub. Everything is well thought out, lots of thoughtful details and I appreciated the comfortable pillows. The bed in the loft was cozy, but just be aware of the slanted ceiling above it. Not a huge issue but watch your head. Due to weather, the driveway became very icy while we were there and Greg was a huge help with getting our car out so we could visit Peterborough. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Overall, it's one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed at and we would definitely come back. Thanks Melissa and Greg!
