Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Onalaska

We loved our peaceful stay at Kari’s Airbnb. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the raptors, soaking in the hot tub, and making snores over the fire pit. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for our mini-moon weekend and had the loveliest, most relaxing time. The cabin was gorgeous, cozy, and clean, surrounded by beautiful views. We arrived to wine, cake, and farm fresh eggs provided by our host. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the early mornings enjoying the spectacular view and relaxed in the hot tub with wine in the evening. The airbnb is 20 minutes from Lanesboro, the cutest little town with cafes, restaurants, bars, and a brewery. There are also many Amish farms with shops nearby (the host provided a map of these farms), so we got to enjoy shopping in the Amish countryside as well. The host was incredibly responsive and always responded SO quickly. We appreciated her very much. We’ll be recommending a weekend away at trout creek cabin to everyone we know!

Our stay was peaceful and beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Super cute cabin. Beautiful view. We went on an adventure every day from hiking to searching for Wisconsin cheese. Loved the Airbnb. We will be back.

Excellent cozy cabin in the woods! Very private setting feels like your a part of nature, lots of birds and deer around the cabin. Very nice touches around the cabin - high quality beds, sheets, linens, and even blankets. Comfortable couches and chairs inside and outside. Highly recommend!!

The cabin was beautiful and the location was amazing. It was really nice to see the bison walking around near the cabin and we were also able to have a really fun campfire outside in the fire pit. Also there was a gas grill where we could do barbecue. We had a really nice time and it was really clean and comfortable and cozy.

100% recommend staying here. I am blown away. First the view is breathtaking, there are so many different spots in the cabin, where you can see the trees , the river and the beautiful pond in the backyard. The cabin itself is gorgeous. The decor, the furniture, the linen, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful . The hot tub was perfect . The beds were very comfortable, so were the couches to lounge on. Everything you could think of in the kitchen ,the linens were soft and cozy. They also provided items that you might have forgotten, like cotton spots, and dental floss. I just cannot get over how beautiful the setting was, if you are debating, staying here I would definitely recommend it. The host is very responsive and quick to reply with any questions or concerns you might ask . And even provided a link for fun things to do around the cabin if you choose to leave which to be honest, I found it very hard to. Will definitely be back.

The cabin was spotless and decorated beautifully. The location was so peaceful and within a short drive to Lacrosse. We especially loved the hot tub and visits from the dogs (we called them over). Derek was very responsive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this location.

We loved our getaway at this sweet cabin. it was the most kid friendly air BNB we have ever stayed at: the perfect blend of serenity and flexibility, toys and games and plastic cups, clear expectations about what is available and what is off limits, lovely decorations and not over the top or breakable, space for kiddos and for grownups. not super sound proof but nothing a white noise machine can't solve. and the best part was the opportunity to explore the woods and trails and the creek! for hours of screen free entertainment. highly recommend!

Excellent. Love this picturesque coulee, and the barn is always a hit. Perfect crash pad for us after days spent exploring trout streams.

Everything, as usual, was wonderful. I have stayed here several times and have future stays booked. The cabins are super cozy no matter what time of year. This was an odd stay weather-wise, as the in-floor heat was needed overnight (oh that is the BOMB, especially in winter!) and the a/c in the afternoon was needed sometimes. Either way - easily stayed completely comfortable! I can't say enough good about Andy Mountain. As a lone female traveler, I can attest to how safe and at home you'll feel there. The cabins/campground have a neighborhood feel and everyone is always friendly. It's nice to have your own private space with covered porch, grill, and fire pit right there. Also of note is that there are dishes, silverware etc and a full size fridge so you can do all of your own cooking if you're not going to be out and about. Great stay - best place I've ever stayed and will continue to stay there in the future!

Great! Amazing! Beautiful! I would give even ten stars if this would be possible. House located in very stunning and peaceful area, perfect for getaway! Just nature and you! House itself its very clean and well finished, pretty much everything that you need its in there! And host is taking care of everything above and beyond! Can’t wait to visit again! My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!

Lori was super responsive. place was exactly what we wanted for a two day state park tour. very private.

This is my second stay here! My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away for a weekend or who wants to take a fishing trip. There are a ton of great fishing spots around the area. I will definitely be coming back!

What a gorgeous location and equally amazing home. Thanks to the hosts for graciously sharing such a pristine cabin in the woods for us to enjoy as we celebrated a big birthday milestone. If you fly fish or are just looking for peace in the wilderness, look nowhere else. We're already talking about coming back annually.

Kimberly was easy to work with and quickly responded. She was flexible when I needed to change my dates. The place was amazing. Such a great spot. One of the best parts was the bird feeder in the front window. Would definitely stay here again.

The Firefly Cabin was a perfect get away. Pam’s attention to detail inside and outside the cabin was incredible. Very clean and comfortable. Close to town. I didn’t see the fireflies (not warm enough in early June), but the chirping of the birds on the porch made a beautiful song. I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Pam.

Beautiful home overlooking gorgeous view of river!

It is one of the loveliest Air BnB places I have stayed in. Barb is a great host and very helpful and friendly. The cabin was beautifully decorated and the grounds are so beautiful and well tended. Absolutely Lovely. The only issue we had was with phone service (no Verizon coverage) and no WiFi available. Recommend downloading your maps and Barb’s directions before you get to Ontario. None of this was the host’s fault and does not detract from the overall beauty and charm of the place. We loved it. Will be back!

Slice is awesome. Jared was great, and was helpful with any of the questions or needs we had. Place was just described, private, secluded. Which is what we were looking for. Only complaint was that there were lots of mosquitoes and many ticks on the dog, but we’re not in the city, We’re in the woods so can’t really complain about that,,, we had a great time..

The Driftless cabin was a great setting for a long weekend getaway with family. There was fishing, shopping, and great dining in nearby Veroqua. We enjoyed sitting on the porch together and taking in the beautiful surroundings.
