Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Ohrid

Really enjoyed our stay. Close to everything we wanted: pubs, resturants, the lake. Nickola was really helpful, met us at the apartment, showed us around and have some great recommendations for things to do/places to visit. Thanks!

We loved staying at Jetas place and would come back anytime! Apart from the beautiful and clean flat with a wonderful lake view, her family was outstanding welcoming and always helpful, especially to our dog lady. A minimarket is located directly in the same building. The beach is fantastic and reachable in only 1 minute. Even the guys from the campsite „Red Stone“ were always friendly and helpful, also their food and drinks are highly recommended. Altogether a stunning experience!

Everything was great.

The place is just magical if you are looking for calm and (immediate) proximity to the lake. Off season, it feels serene and privileged. Special mention for Filip's father who wonderfully welcomed us and responded to all our requests (or even more)!

Pleasant accommodation, with garden. A very warm welcome from Irdi's parents. Nice exchange with his mom, despite the language barrier. We even got cherries from the garden, and homemade jam. One small downside: the lack of pressure in the shower

We spent only 1 night at this place, but it was totally awesome! Super clean, spacious, well located, beautiful and, I must mention, has the softest towels in all AirBnBs in Albania. 😁 Kristjan, thank you so much for having us! 🫶

That was the best holiday I’ve ever had. The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. Kitchen was clean and comfortable. It has everything you might need. The view to the lake was spectacular. Especially on sunset. Huge terrace and even bigger garden. Perfect place to be on quiet and peaceful vacation. And also really romantic spot. It’s in 15 minutes walk from the lake and 5 minutes with a car. We were with our dog and she spent most of the time in the garden. She loved it so much. The harden was fenced which was really important for us because we have a husky that loves to escape 😃. Ilina’s parents and grandparents are the kindest and warmest people you’ll meet. They welcomed us with coffee and we even played cards together. We’ll remember them forever. Aaand we’ll for sure be back soon because it felt like home.

The location on the mountain above the lake is spectacular, the terrace with the breathtaking view is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The hostess's recommendation for the rustic local restaurant in the village was great, we totally enjoyed the delicious Macedonian dishes. We were two with a dog visiting and were very happy that our furry friend was also welcome. Since there are some stairs to climb to the entrance area, organised luggage is recommended😜. We did not use the bedroom in the roof because the pull-out stairs make access to the lower bedroom and bathroom difficult. The cottage is a wonderful starting point to visit Lake Ohrid. Morning coffee and evening wine in the tranquility of the mountain village and the indescribable view from the terrace make the stay something special. The host always answered our questions quickly and helpfully.

We had a peaceful and quiet night. and our hearty breakfast surprise of eating as much in the morning!! for French people, very close to the pool . The person who welcomed us was very friendly. we recommend

Magical views over one of our favourite places on planet earth. Tome's place is spacious & well equipped with a 5 star location overlooking Ohrid and the lake.

Very basic but has everything you may need, the lake is wonderful and the water is pleasantly warm for swimming. The best beaches are just few kilometers away.

Beautiful and quiet place with a beautiful view. The place is perfect for tree people. The kitchen is equipped well and the apartment has a beautiful bathroom. A corner shop that is only 2 minutes away came in handy very often. The local restaurants are a definite recommendation. Sasho was just the nicest host. He not only made us feel at home from the first moment while being very accommodating the entire time. We got very good local inside about the area and got to make a new friend along the way.

Sasho’s apartment is a great place to stay, the apartment is spacious with a great view of the lake. Sasho was an attentive host and was always on hand to make our stay memorable.

Great communication with the host. The room was clean. The view was amazing. Everything was great. Only slight con was the pool, could have been cleaner and not green.

Many features of the house were quite luxurious, especially waking up to the lake felt great, we admired the balcony. Ana was very helpful during our stay, we would love to come again. 2 days is a very short time for this house, I would love to stay longer. 🥰

it was best place on ours road trip in 6 countries. Most quite, like in jungle, you can hear lots of birds, one night we saw swarm of fireflies, was magic.If you want calm your mood, is one of the best place that I ever been❤️🙏 many thanks for Velentin and grandads 😊

We so loved our stay at Dimitar's place. We were attracted by the view of the lake and the reality was so much more than we had expected. We watched the sunset over the mountains every night from the balcony, and spent many hours watching the lake change with the weather and light. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped and we didn't want for anything. It is a short walk from the lake shore, a grocery store and a hotel where you can get a coffee. It's a short bus or taxi ride into Ohrid. Dimitar was so helpful before our visit and during. He was very responsive to messages. He left us some goodies when we arrived and his family brought us a bowl of peaches picked from their own tree! This is a real gem! Don't hesitate to book!

Jayne and her charming abode will always have a special place in my heart. There's nothing negative to say at all as everything is always fab. The appartmen was very nice, with modern appliances and lots of storage space. It's very easy to find and it is worth the value for what it's offering. You are in a very peaceful area and you can just cross the street and relax on the lake shore(you can also see the lake from the balcony) The city of Peshtani is at 10-15 minutes of walking distance and you can find a couple of restaurants to eat something fast. Nikola is a great host and has great recommendations to what you can visit and eat around Ohrid.

Lovely, peaceful stay in an apartment that had everything I could need (and more!) Very homely and the walk into town is so beautiful. Nice spot to feel like a local and relax away from the centre.

We were guests of Marsel for four days. Authentically furnished house and a beautiful garden with courtyard. Marsel let us taste several wines and Hava's mother is a very attentive and loving woman. We got everything from her. Extensive organic breakfast and all kinds of delicious organic snacks. Also homemade raki. Nothing is her too much. Marsel is a nice man and you can ask him anything. The whole family is involved. Lin is an authentic village and has several restaurants. You can take a nice walk and the people are friendly. Great experience to be part of.

Absolutely delightful hosts. They provided excellent recommendations for activities in Ohrid and are very responsive. The apartment is bright and has a covered balcony with a spectacular 6th floor view of the mountains. The bed is very comfortable and the couch is stylish and a perfect place to rest after a day of wandering. I cooked all of my meals in the well stocked kitchen. Groceries are literally across the street. The spa shower and washing machine were a total bonus. Hosts even provided laundry soap. The wifi was strong and the heating unit appreciated on chillier days. Hiking trails are a close walk. There was a hiccup with cleaning and it was dealt with promptly.
