Holiday rentals with a patio in Lake Malawi

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und Mary und Yusuf waren sehr zuvorkommend und gaben uns auch wertvolle tipps. Als wir Abends noch in einem Restaurant waren, hat Yusuf uns sogar abgeholt, weil es bereits dunkel war. Mary hat sich noch sorgen darum gemacht wie wir nach der Abreise in die nächste Stadt kommen und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und sich um ein Taxi gekümmert. Wunderbar für die erste Nacht in Afrika!

Lovely new building. Furnishings are lovely. Some finer details need to be worked on, but overall a very nice unit. I believe this is a newer area and therefore the distance, lack of presence of other community members, and unstable wifi left my family in the need for a different rental. The owner, and what seemed to be the management team, went above and beyond to accommodate our many very last minute requests.

This is a great option, especially for those who are in Lilongwe for extended work, as I was. The apartment is big and comfortable in a really leafy and green section of Lilongwe, about a 45 minutes walk from the Central Business District. There are great restaurants about 20 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment is in a small compound where the owner lives--their support was excellent, though it being Lilongwe expect some periodic power outages. The house is in a huge garden. Overall, I would stay here again and highly recommend the house.

The hosts were very welcoming - very attentive and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. The apartment was well equipped with modern amenities and the hosts had even left some treats to enjoy! The apartment is a great place to stay in Chipata - quiet and peaceful, out of the main hustle and bustle of the town. I was there for work and it was the ideal place to stay. Cleaning staff are friendly and there is good security with guards on both day and night. I would highly recommend this apartment as an alternative to a lodge especially if you like to prepare your own meals and have flexibility. I look forward to going back in the future!

Had a great stay at the cottage with my family. Very clean and beautiful place, we enjoyed the privacy, and peacefulness. Ian was very prompt to responding. Edward and Robert helped with cooking which made our stay even more relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Anelia vous accueille comme un(e) ami(e) et vous vous sentez vite chez vous, chez elle! Ensuite vient le séjour dans son appartement, spacieux et décoré avec bon goût! Rien ne manque, rien n'est en trop! On peut y travailler à l'aise, les coupures d'électricité y sont rares et l'environnement est propice pour une marche ou même une sortie dans un des bons restos du quartier! Une chambre à coucher spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espace de rangement! Probablement le meilleur rapport Qualité/Prix de Lilongwe!

The place is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, offers a lot of space as well as things to do and is clean. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen, after having open fire kitchens for the most of the time in Malawi. Daniele and Angela are great hosts, easy communication and they are there for you when you need them. We can absolutely recommend this place!

The whole stay was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy. Absolutely recommendable!!! Only the accommodation was a bit outside the city center and not at the address given. Thank you very much!

We loved this place. It was in a slightly unlikely setting on the outskirts of Mzuzu but felt very safe and peaceful & surrounded by beautiful countryside. ( you can walk up the hill and get a view for miles over the lake & across to Tanzania). We were glad we had a car although it’s just off the main road so you could probably travel easily by minibus. The house was spacious and sunny with a fabulous garden bearing fruits & herbs delivered by the lovely manger Sam to enhance our self catering. But do bring plenty of supplies as it’s a way from town. There is a large fridge freezer & amazingly 3 bathrooms with baths and hot water. Being newly listed the property was let at a discount and this was reflected in a slightly sparsely equipped kitchen but we are sure this will be rectified once it is rented at full price. Plenty of ( English language ) books to peruse on a lazy evening. We loved this place and would definitely visit again , thank you so much

Very clean place, Thoko is very friendly, and replies very quickly. As stated in her profile, she's not at the location but she has a very friendly and very helpful team, that helps with cooking , cleaning and anything that might come up, they are there for you. I would suggest asking them about the prices of various things sold locally before buying. As the local prices are not fixed, they are based on the appearances, a stranger is charged a "bit" or a lot more.

Very comfy house in a great location, time well spent here! Tim is a great host, very communicative. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place was incredibly peaceful and exactly what we needed to unwind. Both indoor and outdoor areas were perfect – beautifully maintained and ideal for enjoying some fresh Malawian air and relaxation. Whether you’re looking for a serene escape or just a place to recharge, this is the perfect spot. I would highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

Modern apartments in a calm oasis with everything you need. Lovely pool area. Everything was super easy, Roland and Clara are really welcoming and kind hosts.

Our stay was lovely! Perfect for a big number of guests, and the staff there was so helpful! We had everything we needed, and some! The location was in new 43, so there is a short dirt road to take, but most of the way is paved. Would definitely stay here again!
