Very comfortable house in a great location . The dog enjoyed the yard to sleep for a few days. Everything is crowned by a wood sauna . Thank you very much and will definitely be back.

There is no one around right next to the Russian border. We were able to watch the Northern Lights very quietly. There is only one item, on the shelves and freezer, and ingredients and condiments from past guests.It's a good idea to check the expiration date when using it.

This place and its surroundings are simply so beautiful! As much coziness, peace and quiet as you can wish for. And still so much to do and see! We recommend a day trip to Tanamunningen / Høyholmen as well as exploration of the nature just around the cottage, snow shoes made that easy. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as can always happen but the house absolutely made up for that: great sauna, fireplace, grilling sausage outside by the fire in the snow and playing board games and simply watching the amazing landscape. Our stay at Minna and Jyrki's place was fantastic. Jyrki got us in contact with Minna and she welcomed us on the first day with a small tour of the house and with a lot of suggestions of what to do in the surroundings. They were always attentive to our questions and did a great job so we could enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend to stay there, it was overall great!

We did not stay in the original accommodation we booked, but Jan Magnar offered us the use of the small house next door and it was a very good change! Between the nights spent in the tent, we were able to go to the sauna and wash the laundry. The scenery was charming and the beds were good to sleep in. Kitchen well equipped. Families with children should consider the location, as the terrace fences (presumably due to the landscape) are really low.

Wonderful stay! The house exceeded our expectations . There was lots of space for five of us and could accommodate more quite comfortably. It was well organised and fully equipped with everything we needed plus more! Brilliant for relaxing after days out in the snow! The area was quiet and peaceful, perfect for our stay. Great for viewing the northern lights, which we saw on several nights. Kati was an excellent host and responded to our questions promptly. She also arranged for clearance of the driveway after heavy snowfall. Overall, an excellent experience and we would definitely stay again.

Stayed for one night, host was super friendly and easy to communicate. Highly recommend. They also offer Huskey experiences which were more competitive price than the large operators you find on google!

Teemu responded quickly to messages and was ready to support if you had any questions. The stay was top notch, all new and smooth.

We really felt very comfortable in Teija's cottage and would have liked to stay there longer. We thought it was really nice that we had the opportunity to light a campfire and grill. The area is very quiet and perfect for relaxing due to the forest and the proximity to the lake. The cottage itself is very modern and is heated/cooled with a heat pump. In addition, Teija was always available, incredibly friendly and offered many helpful tips with her guest book :) We would come back anytime and can highly recommend the accommodation 😊

Juhani is very friendly and kind. He answered all our questions about access and even bought additional equipment. Unfortunately the extreme climatic conditions (-30°) and a totally snowy access in the middle of the night forced us to walk in the powder, the cold also forced us to shorten our stay but this cottage is a haven of peace , perfectly located by the lake with electricity, the latter has all the necessary comforts. Thank you to Juhani for agreeing to shorten our stay and for all his kindness. In winter I recommend this accommodation to athletes to access it and people accustomed to living conditions in the heart of nature.

If you wanna escape the civilisation for a bit Leif's place is great. It's peaceful, it's remote and it's perfect for relaxation. The road to the cabin was great although mostly unpaved. The last stretch to the cabin can only be done by an offroader I guess :) But the 200m walking is just fine. The cabin looks like it's under renovation and almost completed which is nice. I think the decoration could be improved but that's a detail. The beds were very comfy and there was absolute silence. We could flexibly check in as the key was already in the door. Thanks for the flexibility of checking out at 12:30.

The place was very nice and peaceful. Great location. Very close to ski trails and hiking trails. Suitable for those traveling with children. Good beds and bedding. The crockery was enough for a larger group. A nice addition to the sauna and hot tub. I can warmly recommend the stay to everyone.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for something a bit more out there - not a typical Airbnb experience but we really enjoyed it. Only real negative was a very creaky bed.
