The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. Ever wonder what it would be like to awake to scenes like this? With 200 acres of rural solitude overlooking a 16-acre lake, we offer a little piece of rural heaven. The pool adds a taste of tropical paradise for our guests to enjoy. Each cabin has 2 Queen Bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a sleeping loft with 5 twin beds. Maximum of 8 guests on site. Hike the woods or around the lake or just sit on the porch. Fishing is catch and release only. No fish cleaning on site.

This little cabin was a labor of love for our family. It’s a mix of new remodel and old cabin authenticity. It’s a coat of many colors and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. My brother and I decided to take on a project together and with the help of our beloved spouses we took this little diamond in the rough to its current prime.
