Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake George

Jared’s place was perfect for our short weekend getaway on the motorcycles. We came in a little early and it was raining and he allowed us to check in early which was great. The house itself was just as described and spotless! Overall had a great experience and will definitely be staying there if we come back to the area!

Our stay was amazing. The scenery was beautiful, the cabin itself was well stocked and clean and our host was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future!

The easiest 5 stars I've ever given! It's my family's 5th year coming to the Stone Lodge and it's our favorite trip of the year. From the bald eagles nesting across the lake from you, and the private sandy beach, to the fire pits at night, and the kayaks out on the lake, it's just the perfect spot. Amazing hosts too! Cannot wait to return again for a 6th time to make even more memories.

Debra’s place is a DREAM!! Even more beautiful than the photos. Check in and check out were a breeze, and Debra was very responsive/friendly/helpful. She even left us some Prosecco to kick off my bachelorette weekend!! So thoughtful and generous. I absolutely recommend Debra’s GORGEOUS home and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Every room is so comfortable, clean, and well decorated and the backyard is peaceful and picturesque. We had everything we needed and more. Thank you, Debra!!

EXCEPTIONAL! We can't say enough about how perfect our stay was. The Lake House is amazing. Great view, cozy, super clean. You can't ask for more. Will definitely come back and recommend highly.

A fantastic week, The home is a great place to relax and get away. I highly recommend renting this location for the views and amenities. The host does not leave a thousand chores to do when you go to leave like other hosts. If you’re ever thinking about renting in lake George, save this listing.

Great comfortable cabin. Clean and plenty of space for everyone with open floor plan. Me and my wife loved sitting by the wood stove at night as everyone else were either in the kitchen or watching TV. Great location and will definitely come back.

This choice was at the high end of our shopping, but did not disappoint. The hosts go out of their way to make sure their guests are taken care of. They do provide some coffee & tea to get you started, but you do need to bring any other groceries with you at the start. We stopped before arriving to get dinner, beverages, and morning supplies to tide us over to our main shopping. They have moved into the electronic age (successfully). A little of a learning curve, but made our visit enjoyable. Loved no key or lock box, streaming tv, Keurig, modern laundry, great wifi, remotes (and they all worked). Didn't take advantage of Alexa. And the smokeless fire pit is AWESOME. The actual home earns its Lakehouse name with a view of the lake -so relaxing. This was truly what made our trip. Quiet & serene. We are looking forward to our next visit that they have their lake access available (which was a temp.situation). Lakehouse was the retreat that revived our Northcountry activities.

Tucked away on a private road, this place was perfect for some rest and relaxation. My daughter and I spent our short time there sitting by the lake, shopping at the outlets and just doing nothing (which was the point of this getaway). I would definitely stay again!

My husband, another couple and our two pups had a wonderful time at the cottage. We absolutely loved the access to the lake (note that you have to cross a road but it’s a very quiet one, not much cars), it’s private beach, and enjoyed the kayaks, canoe and paddle board. The place has comfortable bedding, extremely well furnished kitchen and is only a few minutes from stunning lake George and the lovely town of Bolton Landing. Be aware of mosquitoes! The host warned us before our arrival and had extra repellent for us to use! Michelle was extremely responsive to all our questions and even came late at night to help us troubleshoot an issue with the fans! Would definitely recommend this place if looking for a peaceful nature retreat!

We had an amazing time on trip here. The cottage and location were just as described. It was beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was well maintained and clean. The location was perfect for a getaway from busy everyday life.

Lori’s place was everything listed ,and more !!!! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings, the cabin was adorable, and access to the boat ,and kayaks was awesome!!! My husband and daughter enjoyed the fishing , and my son enjoyed his daily walks. I personally enjoyed sitting on dock , or the screened in porch enjoying a good book!!!! This lovely cabin was just perfect in every way! The house itself was very private, nicely furnished and was stocked with everything you need and more to enjoy every part of the property. We enjoyed the three season porch and the interior fireplace the most where we lounged for hours in between walking to and from Sacandaga Lake to the property's dedicated access area. Though it rained all weekend, we could not have found a more quiet, serene and peaceful place to spend a long holiday weekend. We look forward to returning sometime soon!

Perfect family get together at this lake house. Stunning take views throughout the first floor, great outdoor areas and kayaks. Huge dining room table that can seat 12. Location is great. Quick access to town, charming store a short walk away that has all the essentials, and a boat rental place that’s super close by if you want to take advantage of the lakefront dock (which we did). The upstairs got a little warm but otherwise was a perfect stay.

Linda was a perfect host and even better human being, she was very kind and thoughtful! I would love to come back soon to her paradise of a home!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Nancy and Dave (and their dog) were super friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The place has anything you can think of to make you feel at home. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into it. This is a perfect place for some peace an quiet right on the Hudson with all the comforts. I hope to come for another visit in the future!

It was an over all Amazing experience! Mary is one of the best hosts I had ever dealt with, she has excellent communication skills and awesome personality. She provided accurate descriptions of the place and specific instructions. The place was exactly as described, clean and neat. The fire pit outside and the grill makes the experience ten times better. I would definitely visit the area again and would love to stay there again. Thank you Mary!

It was just the perfect weekend getaway at the perfect cabin. Everything from the peaceful surroundings, the view, the inside of the cabin, the glamping bedroom was exactly, if not better than pictured on the listing. It truly exceeded our expectations. Our little family felt right at home in Randi & Liz's cabin. They gave clear instructions and great recommendations for food, hikes, and more. They were immediately helpful when we needed a trail map and even got us a table at a local restaurant with great food, service, and live music. The cabin was comfy, cozy, and everything we wanted on our weekend vacation. The property was peaceful and expansive, with wooded trails and a path down to the river. It was a treat to see the horses and dogs and chat with Randi and her family. We're looking forward to staying with them in the future!

Peaceful place on a Lake. Our Family of four was looking for R&R and found the perfect getaway on Trout Lake. The property was situated right on the shore of Trout Lake and offered a great view,, fishing, kayaking (the host provided access to 2 kayaks and a small rowboat 😊). It is well located between Diamond Point & Lake George and all that those towns had to offer. The house was as described and provided a cozy vibe after days spent in Lake George or Hiking. Jeff was a superb host with great communication and providing a everything we needed to get started – even had a bonus card to the local grocery store. Thank you, Jeff. We will be booking this property again on our next trip to the Lake George region.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Shasta’s place. Our family loves the outdoors and the location couldn’t have been better. It is right on Garnet Hill XC ski and snowshoe trails. Garnet Hill has been a favorite of our for years and so discovering this house was a gem of a find. It is also super close to Gore for some great downhill skiing and great snowshoe trails are also close. It is also super quiet being away from roads and other houses. We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire and playing games in the evening. We’re definitely planning to try to come back in the future!

This place slaps! It's right on the lake, great view from the living room. Incredibly comfy and cozy. The bathroom is a bit small, but the whole house really has everything you need for a wonderful weekend away. Also, the host was so responsive and generous! They provided wood for a fire, fresh water, a canoe and kayak to go out on the lake, and were very considerate of us. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy, cabin by the lake to get some time to think, this place is the place for you! Enjoy it as much as we did.

This place is such a hidden gem! Amazing fireplace/patio area, homey wooden cabin feeling, great food areas around and super private/quiet! We felt right at home!
