Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Erie Beach

We had a great experience with Sam and the overall stay. I had some last-minute changes to our booking, and Sam was incredibly accommodating and proactive in helping us adjust our plans smoothly—his communication was quick, clear, and friendly throughout. The space is exactly as described in the listing: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s a cozy basement apartment. All the features—from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy bed and living area—felt very intentional and well-maintained. Many little touches made the stay even better, like clear instructions, fast WiFi, and plenty of towels and toiletries. The location worked well for our trip. I'd recommend this spot to others looking for a quiet, functional place with a responsive and considerate host. Thanks again, Sam!

This was a phenomenal stay! The house was clean and well stocked (e.g. toilet paper, soap, dishes, etc.). The rooms were as posted in the photos, so there were no surprises! Vu was a very responsive and helpful host. When we had trouble with the hot tub, he came down right away and checked the water for us. As a suggestion for those visiting, if you are sensitive to pool chemicals, you should run the hot tub for one cycle before getting in. There were some spatulas that were unclean in the drawer, but this was not of big concern to us as it might have just been missed while cleaning. Location wise, it’s walkable to Crystal Beach and it has some cute shops along the way! Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Loved this home, it was beautifully decorated every inch. My favourite bedroom was the one on the first floor. This was a change from the typical waterfront properties our family books but with a heated pool and jacuzzi that was situated in a landscaped backyard we couldn’t ask for more. Very clean and she had everything. Lindy has really outdone herself to make sure her guests from all ages enjoy her home. She accommodated our family literally 3 hours before checkin, as the cottage we originally booked the host cancelled less than 24hrs before checkin. Thank you Lindy for sharing your home!!

The location was immaculate and it was the perfect getaway. Located minutes away from the Falls!

We felt instantly at home in the lovely house on an idyllic road.

The home and host were fantastic, and the community was warm and welcoming. The surrounding area was quiet, scenic, and filled with courteous people, exactly what we had hoped for. The wildlife was a wonderful surprise. The abundance of animals, combined with the nearby lake, created memorable and diverse experiences for our kids. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Blue Skies Lodge! They put so much effort into every little detail, the place really is amazing. The star gazing field is beautiful and the trails were so nice to explore! Their hot tub is top tier and very clean. The entire place was cleaned well. Such a charming getaway, we’ll be back for sure!

My family had a wonderful time celebrating my Granddaughter’s 10th birthday, as well as Father’s Day. Nancy was a wonderful host who greeted us with her family, for a tour of the property upon check-in. The property is exceptionally beautiful with so much to do for everyone so was there never a reason to leave but it was great having the town of Grimsby only a 5 min drive away and the Bruce trail right next door. We had such a wonderful time and will definitely look to book again in the future.

Great little place to stay

Lakeside Bliss! We were so very lucky to have landed this Air BnB for our recent stay in Port Dalhousie. We were visiting for a Rowing Regatta- and the location cannot be beat. Warren's home is truly a home away from home. We walked through the door, and it was welcoming- almost familiar. It is so very well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with quality and abundant gear- appliances top notch. The bedrooms and all linens high end. Warren was easy to communicate with and quick in responses- although honestly we lacked for nothing during our stay. I am not sure Warren's home could have been any cleaner- it was immaculate! ( and I am picky -so that is saying a lot). The best part of the stay however - is the backyard and the view. We were so sad to leave! Thank you Warren, we do plan on returning- often.

We stayed at Amy's place while visiting family in the area. It's a beautiful house and we were very comfortable. We loved that it was dog friendly which is one of our major requirements when traveling! The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. We were happy with our stay.-- I do want to mention there aren't a ton of plates or bowls which wasn't a problem for us just something to keep in mind when booking. We would definitely stay here again!

The Crystal Cottage is such an amazing place! Anne Marie and Norm are such wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. The cottage is in a great location within walking distance to everything and is still very quiet an peaceful. The local people are also fantastic and make guests feel welcome. I highly recommend the Crystal Cottage to other guests and will be back for sure!

Great location, very walkable to shops/restaurants in town and also right along the main route of the wine trail. The inside has been updated to look modern while still maintaining a lot of charm. We visited in November so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outside, but noted the nice fenced yard with fire pit and a covered hangout area which would be lovely in warmer weather. We really appreciated how well stocked it was with options to make any guest happy (coffee and tea, popcorn and blankets for a movie night, all kinds of games, dog supplies, etc.). The hosts really thought of everything, and I would recommend a stay here to anyone. We traveled as two couples doing the wine trail for a weekend, and it worked perfectly for us.

I was looking for a last-minute getaway from Toronto with my dog Luna, and Robert was quick to respond and accommodate us. The Airbnb is the perfect cottage -- cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Every detail made it feel warm and welcoming. We enjoyed peaceful walks on the beach and also discovered a lovely trail nearby for Luna to explore. When I accidentally locked myself out of the cottage, Robert was incredibly responsive and showed up within 10 minutes to let us back in. We’re already planning our next trip back — we highly recommend staying at Robert and Cole's!

I love my stays at the bunkie, the place & environment is very welcoming. I always sleep well as the mattress is heavenly!

I usually do not leave reviews but this place deserves it. We (husband & 2 corgis included) really enjoyed our stayed. Check-in was easy and Sonia was great to communicate with. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Close (10 - 15 min) to stores if needed and to the Falls. Great place to relax after a long day of walking around. The hosts are super nice people and we wouldn't hesitate to book again once you come back.

Emily was an incredible host!! We arrived slightly earlier than planned and she immediately came down to the tiny home to make sure everything was ready, even leaving some amazing bread and homemade jam as a welcome gift Although we didn’t have great weather, property was wonderful to walk around and proximity to ellicottville and sculpture park was great. Emily’s picnic was to die for!! Had it waiting for us when we got back from town. When we wanted to make a fire after dinner, she brought down a ton of firewood for us as soon as I messaged her. 10/10 would come again!! Perfect staycation for the Buffalo area

Went for a weekend away and the place was a great stay. It was clean and communication was great. They even left us snacks and a nice note.

Here are a few things we loved about Richard and Susan’s apartment. • A private porch overlooking a beautiful yard. • Well stocked kitchen (including bread, milk/juice, butter and eggs. • Comfortable beds. • Very spacious. • Clean • Peaceful • Easy drive to the town of Medina.

Carol’s place was beautiful! The pool was a nice bonus and it wasn’t too far from the falls! Carol was seriously, hands downs thee coolest airbnb host I’ve encountered yet!!! She was so funny and engaged when I had questions on how far things were or her recommendations on things to do nearby! I will def be back, if not to stay in her beautiful airbnb it will be to hang out with her!!! Thanks sooo much Carol! My sister and I had a blast and you made it 1000x funner!

This cottage is just like the pictures and it was very clean was in a great location very close to the beach walking distance. The backyard is like your own little tranquil paradise! The pool was clean. Everything was great. My family and I went there for my 50th birthday and we truly enjoyed ourselves even my teenage boys. We honestly didn’t wanna leave Best Birthday ever and the host Trevor is amazing responsive and friendly. Super nice highly recommend this place. I know we will definitely be going back .

I had stayed at this resort before but through the resort. No plunger. Had to call and wait to get the toilet unclogged. No wifi as well. I paid more as well and the cottage was smaller in size. This cottage was spacious and had all the amenities. Never had to contact John except how to turn on the heat and hot water. I highly recommend this cottage

Beautiful place. The hosts were so kind and helpful. The area is safe and so close to the outlets which was a huge plus for us ladies! Hope to stay there again one day!
