Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Desolation

Our stay was all good. FYI, the space is on a high 2nd floor, be sure you can handle some steps.

Beautiful cabin with spacious front deck. Great view of lake and moutains. Jacuzzi and smart shower were amazing. Dana was easy to talk to and work with. Would come here again.

This home was in an ideal location for us. We easily visited family in Queenbury, Malta and Clifton Park and were just 15 minutes from Lake George. There's a Hanniford Grocery store about a mile up the road and it's conveniently located to the Northway and Route 9.

It was a perfect fit for our family rafting weekend with Adirondack Rafting Co. Great hiking trails. Beware of ticks. Game room was a plus. Hot tub was excellent and view was beautiful. All was just as described. Check in and check out was smooth with necessary information provided in a timely manner. On our last day we discovered the good cooking knives in the drawer to the right of the dishwasher;) Although remote, there was a grocery store within 15 minutes and take out for pizza and wings within 10.

Had a great time! Super cool place to stay, very convenient location near plenty of restaurants and things to do! Had no trouble getting in and enjoying the area, plus got some great suggestions from our host. Would definitely recommend!

It was a very peaceful and relaxing setting. Everything was great. Hot tub is new and worked great. We had a lot of rain and spent a lot of time inside. It was very cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place... they did a great job inside and out. We wished we could have stayed longer. We lost cell reception while there so it was difficult to communicate with Jeff after we'd arrived but Internet worked well enough for entertainment and a little work.

This was a lovely Adirondack cabin getaway. very private and peaceful surroundings, and its just close enough (~15/20 min) to town and 25 min to Lake George. The home was clean and cozy with a fun basement full of activities and an amazing hot tub!! Uzma and Billy were very responsive throughout our visit. I'd definitely stay here again.

Second stay at this place. Engaged to my wife while staying here 4 years ago and this time we brought our 1 1/2 yr old son and sister in law. Very peaceful! The village of lake George is close enough to go to and from as often as you want effortlessly but far enough to enjoy peace. The firework shows with the echo through the mountains and across the lake are visible and audibly stunning! Ania provides everything you need for that rustic cabin experience and immediate response with any other questions. My sister in law fell in love with the location. I taught her how to fish and within 5 minutes she caught her first fish, 2 lb large mouth bass, right off the dock at the lake Ania provides. Ania provides a binder with all the local to dos anyone not familiar with the area could want but I’ll be honest, my favorite part was having nothing to do and enjoying the tranquility with my family.

The host was very responsive and helped us at check in and check out. The cabin was gorgeous and the surrounding views spectacular! We will definitely come back!

This cabin was great for a weekend in Saratoga. A quick Uber into town and a beautiful place to stay! We loved the mini horses. The house had a beautiful outdoor area and the host was easy to get in touch with and friendly

Nancy is a very responsive, kind, and generous host. She maintain the place well. It is a lovely area. The stay was very enjoyable.

Cute and cozy. Short walk through their own property to gorgeous Lake Luzerne. Sweet little stream right off the deck of the A-frame. Nice place to relax, and the owners were friendly and responsive--even reaching out to let me know place was available a bit earlier. We really enjoyed our stay.

First of all the pictures for this place don’t do it justice! It’s a beautiful home and way bigger than we expected! We had a great weekend at John’s place and can’t wait to comeback and stay again.

Highly recommended for your stay! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay for the Belmont Stakes. We are a family of four this time and 2 queen beds were perfect for our stay. The house is easy to find and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The grounds are a perfect camp vibe but with central air conditioning. Two horses came to check us out right away. The third came later, a very spicy lady who snorted and stomped, letting us know or chatting time was over. We had deer visitors, bunnies all over and 2 black and white cats who kept close eyes on our comings and goings. Bathroom was spotless, towels galore and toiletries at the ready in the shower. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Plenty of every kitchen tool and condiments. There’s a country store at the end of the road and a Hannaford as you head in. We can’t wait to stay again!

Our stay was lovely. The weather was not so great however, being right on the lake made it so much nicer. Beautiful views. The bedroom is in the front of the house so you do hear the noise from the main road but that was a small issue compared to all the rest of the house. Beautiful. Can not wait for next years trip.

This cabin is a small slice of serenity. It's cozy, but has everything you need and enough room to sleep a small family. Being right across the street from the lake was incredibly convenient and having access to kayaks was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back again if we are in the area.

The campground is peaceful, well-kept, extremely clean, and well-organized. The sites are spacious and a great mix of pull-through and back-ins. With two young children, I appreciated how quiet the campground was - I didn't have to worry about cars and golf carts zipping past our site. The cabin itself was really great and a happy medium between camping and glamping. The shower was hot, and having our own restroom and kitchenette was so convenient for our family. Cumberland Farms and Dunkin were only a few minutes' drive away for added convenience. It is a straight shot down 149 to Lake George / the outlets, which is also a massive perk. We will be visiting again.

Ainsley has provided all of the basic necessities to sit up housekeeping. Unfortunately, the rainy weekend didn’t encourage much exploration beyond the front door. However, the cottage was well stocked with necessities, superbly clean & the only thing that I might recommend is to place at least a few hooks to hang things on in the bedroom without a closet.

Love this little lake house. Second time staying. Julia is a fantastic host.

2nd summer we stayed at Henry’s Air BNB,wouldn’t even think of anywhere else to stay.Just the most Beautiful views of the Lake and Mountains.very quiet and peaceful.Really enjoyed the use of kayaks. This is the place for you to sit back and relieve your stress of everyday life.We will be back for sure!Henry is the perfect host and everything is simple and not complicated.He is very responsive with your texting or phone calls.Setting up the fire pit for us is a plus.

We had a wonderful stay at Bruce's lake house. It has been beautifully updated and the location on the lake is fantastic. The master bed is huge and comfortable The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to cook meals. We used the gas grill one evening and appreciated having it. The living room furniture is comfortable and we even turned on the electric fireplace one rainy morning. It was great! There are two kayaks and a canoe. We paddled around the lake and had a great time. We even caught a couple fish. I highly recommend this lake home for a relaxing retreat and we are already planning our return trip!

My family and I had a wonderful family winter break at this cozy home. The wooden interior made us feel like we were at a log cabin. Lots of table games, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stacked! And most importantly the host was friendly and very responsive. A great spot for a family getaway!
