Holiday rentals with a pool in Lake County

Very well thought through place for every detail, with a mix of 70s wood style and some higher tech upgrades like the main bathroom mirror with light and anti fog, or sensor lights. Kate was very responsive and accommodating for the 1 baby & 1 toddler we asked for. The place was stocked with all necessary items especially in the kitchen with appliances and cutlery, coffee, tea. There were 2 hairdryers, nice shampoo and conditioner, shower gel.

What a wonderful stay we had in Matthew's beautiful beach house! The house was perfectly clean with all the listed amenities and more. Thoughtful welcome gifts, very well-appointed kitchen and bathrooms, and great linens. The pool area was clean and beautiful, and there were ample pool toys, lawnchairs, seating, etc. The layout of the home is perfect -- there are many seating areas for different groups to have their own conversations and a very large kitchen/dining table for all to be together. The beach is steps away, and there is almost no one there so it is private and expansive. Matthew provided so much information about the local things to do and see --- I was born and raised in the area and did not know about some of them! I really cannot say enough about the place or Matthew's generous and communicative hosting style. We came here on the recommendation of a prior guest and we are so glad we did!

Nice house with updates. We used all four bedrooms, so everyone had their own space. Kitchen and living room looked nice, but a bit cozy if everyone was in the space at the same time. There was a large breakfast nook/counter in the kitchen instead of a table. More dishes, mugs, etc. in the kitchen would have been nice. The coffee maker and provided K-cups were great! Would definitely stay again if it's available when we are in the area again.

This home was super cozy for my big family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the way it is set up makes you feel right at home. This home had everything we needed. TV’s, kitchen items, recommendations, and even fun family games and activities to do. Every time I visit the area I’ll be checking to see if it’s available. 10/10

We enjoyed our weekend trip close to the beach!

The Little Pink House greatly exceeded our expectations. Suzanna was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly. We were in town for a wedding and had an infant with us and the provided amenities made it feel like home. We would absolutely love to stay again if we get the chance.

We had a lovely stay at The Lodge. My grandchildren enjoyed the yard and the pool. The adults enjoyed the areas around the pool so we could relax and keep an eye on the children. My children enjoyed taking the train into Chicago to go sight seeing, They spent a couple days at The Dunes and enjoyed the hiking.
