This whole section of the South Coast is known for its beautiful beaches and waters that are perfect for all manner of sports — from snorkelling to surfing to kayaking — and Lake Conjola is a lesser-known haven. The village, located on the south side of the lake, is a quiet, charming coastal town with an old-timey general store, lakeside boardwalk, recreational club, plus a number of bars and eateries.
On the northern side of the lake, Conjola National Park sprawls out into a nature lover’s paradise, where the lakes kiss the ocean and beaches nestle up next to bushland and forests. The other side of the town is hugged by Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve, renowned for its incredible birdwatching.
