Nemo's Corner

We are a Portuguese family that knows all the islands of the Azores, and completed in August 2018 this retreat, to get away from our busy lives in London. Until the day comes that we can enjoy it full time, we have decided to share the amazing space we have created with others that love the nature, mountain and sea that is always surrounding us. The house is within Prainha, the most beautiful parish of Pico Island, and within close proximity to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bakery.

Relax in this cottage with a unique and tranquil spot. Enjoy the fantastic view of Faial, the sea and the village of Madalena in the pool, Jacuzzi or sauna. Enjoy a beautiful wooden house in a unique and special place with a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. Benefit from the walking tours overlooking the wonderful Pico mountain. Our accommodations are located a 2-minute drive and a 20-minute walk from Vila da Madalena, and include a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa bed.

No lugar do Cabrito, é possível observar uma grande quantidade de estruturas semicirculares de pedra, construídas para proteger figueiras e que são representativas do fantástico esforço por parte do Homem do Pico para conseguir extrair sustendo a partir de solo rochoso e árido.

Located on the north coast amidst the UNESCO World Heritage Site, this sea-level, ocean-front property is located 5 minutes by car from Madalena, the largest town and center for shopping on Pico Island. The house, with plenty of parking. sits on a landscaped 5500 square meter (approximately 1.3 acres) property, that also supports a small vineyard.

Landscape and nature are the keywords. Set in a vineyard in the middle of a protected landscape of vineyard culture, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the surrounding environment is breathtaking. Surrounded by stone walls, the famous "vineyard corrals", wherever you look you will come across a fantastic view, being able to see Pico Mountain, Faial Island and São Jorge Island (Triangle Islands) and the sea.

Very comfortable house, we used wood from the island in its interior. A very good location between Madalena and São Roque and close to the Airport. Well-equipped kitchen. Relax, read, watch the sea, the boats and the Mountain too.

Ten minutes drive from the airport. Fifteen minutes from the port of Madalena with access to the island of Faial and S. Jorge. Fifteen minutes by car to the grocery store. Snack - bar and a natural swimming pool across the street.
