Holiday houses in Laguna Mountains

Lovely outdoor space! And soooo close to the beach. It being about 3 small blocks from the public parking and the lifeguard stations, means everything is just a bit less busy where the house is, and the beach is a little quieter if you go directly west from the house. The planes flying overhead are loud, so bring some earphones if that's something that bothers you. Joshua is a very helpful and responsive host!

My wife and I stayed a week and it was perfect for us both. Had everything we needed. Loved that it had bikes and beach gear to take to the beach. It was quiet, great TV to chill at nights. Magee and hosts were right next door and very friendly. Answered questions promptly. Couldn’t ask for a better week at the beach. Would stay again and again.

I loved this cottage, it’s location, and our experience. The exterior: private, behind a wooden fence steps away from the sidewalk, with the cutest succulent garden with some tasteful décor. The interior: meticulously curated vintage and retro-style pieces, always something to look at, I appreciate that it wasn’t an IKEA bulk order but a lot of love and care and personality. And it’s SO clean and doesn’t feel cluttered at all! I loved the round yellow bathroom tile, the kitchen sink, the leather chair and ottoman in the living room. So many gems all around. Katrina was a gem herself!!! My toddler got sick (yuck) in bed the first night, and K came to our rescue the next morning with new linens, completely kindhearted and understanding. Related- the free laundry was a godsend to have with a kid, and to simply not have to pack a ton! And the beach gear, stocked supplies in the cabinets, they thought of everything! ❤️

The cottage was great for what we needed. Walkable area to the beach and restaurants. Enjoyed the outdoor space and fire pit. Had an amazing time in San Diego!

We had the best trip for my 30th birthday and this place was just the icing on top of the trip! The space was cute, clean & conveniently located to everything on our to-do list! We took advantage of the hot tub every day. The detailed instructions made everything super helpful for check in / check out!

Our family of five had a lovely stay here. Location is amazing…loved walking down to the beach and a short walk from lots of restaurants but not too noisy. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Nice to have laundry down the hall too. And pool & hot tub were great. The views from the unit are stunning and loved having the ocean breeze and sounds at night. We would stay here again!!

Great place we'd love to revisit! Carlsbad is a favorite spot and this place checks all the boxes for our needs/wants!

I’ve stayed here twice and both times were excellent. It’s extremely private and has a pretty view. It’s pretty easy to find as well. I would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place had stunning views and was perfectly private, making it a peaceful retreat. The location was ideal—close to everything but still felt tucked away. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the kitchen and bathrooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped. The surrounding area was beautiful and added to the relaxing vibe. Would definitely stay here again!
