We enjoyed our stay. The airbnb was spacious and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. We were in Parksville awaiting the birth of our grandson so it was a nice place to pass the time until baby's arrival. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals, the area has lots of nice walking trails, we enjoyed using the hot tub and the view from our unit was a nice surprise.

When I read other guests reviews, I could tell that Janet sincerely cared for all of her guests. If you are searching for a home away from home, stop searching because Janet is the GEM in the Sunshine Coast treasure box.

Had a great time at Jane's place. It is in a great location close to the beach and walking trails. Also within walking distance of great restaurants. The house had everything you need for cooking, sleeping and relaxing.

It was a beautiful home for the 10 of us when ample space to feel very comfortable. We had trouble with pool being not heated but Tanner was very helpful and quick to respond and helped us get it working again. The home is so cozy and clean and we would highly recommend it to other large groups.

We were 2 couples visiting the province for a family gathering. This place was absolutely perfect for us! Spacious, clean and beautifully decorated homes. The gardens are gorgeous and we grew attached to all the lovely animals outside the front door! The rural setting was close to all the urban places we visited....and we enjoyed getting to know the surrounding area. Krista was responsive and helpful....and gave us lots of great tips! This is the best airbnb experience we have ever had!

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Very family friendly - we used the pack'n'play and highchair, as well as the beach toys provided! There were many "kids" cups and plates which made meal time a breeze. The fully enclosed deck was also nice for the kids to play on. There were a couple things that would be nice for a handyman to come work on (tightening up toilet seats/towel rods, etc.) but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

Everything was great, the only thing for me is I like a hard bed. Now don’t get me wrong my kids said they had the best sleep. Her bed was WAY too soft. Memory foam beds and foam pillows! It was nice but I didn’t have the best sleep because I’m used of a harder bed.

The property is absolutely beautiful and Heidi is the perfect host. Upon check-in, we were greeted with flowers, a basket of fruit, and makings for a great breakfast. The space is large, clean, and very well appointed. The property is so nice that it was difficult to leave to explore the Island! 🤣 Heidi was very warm and welcoming. She made sure that we were happy and was very responsive. Communications were wonderful. We were a group of 8 and never felt like we were in each other’s way. Thanks you for a wonderful visit!!

Truly one of the best Airbnbs we've stay in. The house is better than we could have imagined and lake is even closer than what it looks like in the pictures. My five year old son says his favorite thing(s) about the house is: jumping into the lake, the hot tub, the water play, jumping in the lake, the big couch, the showers, and jumping into the lake... Hoping to come back again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

This was a wonderful place to stay and it was hard to leave! The house itself was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed to cook meals for the six of us. The views from all of the rooms were spectacular of the ocean, boats, birds and sea lions. There were thoughtfully placed chairs outside to enjoy the scenery and sunsets. The wifi was good and meant that one of our sons could work during part of our stay. This house felt like home and was in such a peaceful and beautiful location. Paul was an excellent host and was friendly and responsive to any questions we had. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Ryan and Madison were a lovely couple. We enjoyed getting to know them. They were happy to assist us with questions. They even went out and purchased a small dresser when we mentioned that there could be more drawer space! A beautiful family. We would happily stay in their place again!

Shirley has a beautiful home. She is super responsive and helpful. A delight.Her home was great as well had everything we could need. The Kitchen very well stocked. Deck was so soothing and relaxing. I am so happy !I had such a wonderful weekend staying here with friends and visiting family. Thank you Shirley for the thoughtful touches. Would definitely recommend this home.

We loved the house and the area. Kurt responded immediately to all out concerns, of which there were many. The area is lovely. We felt very welcome.

Pictures couldn't possibly capture how well appointed and perfectly situated this place is- 5 stars!!! You can sit with a coffee on the beautiful deck listening to the birds and watching the boats pass up and down Howe Sound while snow capped coastal mountains frame the posrcard backdrop, amazing! The suite has everything you need and is well laid out with impressive attention to the details: Comfy bed, proper linens, fluffy towels, premium soaps etc. We walked down to the village and it's a 30 minute peacefull walk down the road. Highly reccomened!

This was a aboslutley beautiful space! The view is breathtaking and the high windows, wood beams and balaconies make the whole thing quite dreamy. There is also a amazing bathtub on the lower floor that overlooks the ocean which was my happy place. They keep the space very clean and well stocked with the key things you may need to make your stay comfortable (shower ammenities, basic kitchen supplies, great towels). I went with my kid, parents, sister and her baby and were quite comfortable with the three bedrooms and large living room/ kitchen. The fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere in the evenings as you watch the sunset and birds flying overhead. It is also convenientily located 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. The only challenging thing for us was that the home is situated immediately against the street and there is no sidewalk to walk with kids/ to the beach etc. There is also no real backyard for kids to run and play in.

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

Thank you for hosting our techs in beautiful Nanaimo. Minh was great at communicating and very accommodating at our request for an earlier check in (our techs arrived in Nanaimo early Sunday morning). We will definitely return to Minh's place the next time we visit Nanaimo! Thank you Minh!!

Our international artists appreciate having clean, comfortable surroundings when they travel, and a place where they can relax off-site from our music festival. They were effusive in their prisse of such nice accommodation. Life can be hard for a touring artists.
