"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Was a fantastic, peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway. Close to molong and orange for quick trips to visit wineries/cafes. We thoroughly enjoyed snuggling up near the indoor fire/ outdoor fire and exploring the farm and what it has to offer. Great for our 2 year old daughter, toys, farm animals and lots of outside space.

We had a wonderful stay at Wilga Station. The home was beautifully decorated and the view was stunning. Hamish was a fabulous host and responded quickly to every enquiry and gave detailed instructions for check in and great recommendations for nearby restaurants and towns to visit. The sparkling wine and eggs and bacon for breakfast with delicious freshly baked sour dough was a lovely touch. As was the stacked fire pit and fire place . I highly recommend a short getaway here.
