In the heart of the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park, 30 minutes from Limoges: at the exit of the village, past the stone bridge, the alley of old trees welcomes you in a bath of greenery. The wooded land on 6 ha is nestled in a meander of the small river, the Gorre. The mill is located along the head race; a bamboo grove softens the northern flank while to the south, the terrace of the cottage overlooks the edge of the woods. The facade mirrors the old dwelling house and the ruined barn.

La Vieille Porcherie is a typical French self-contained gîte dating back to the 17th Century. The gite is situated in a quiet hamlet between Cussac and Oradour-sur-Vayres. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with numerous swimming lakes in the vicinity, wonderful walks, fabulous quiet roads for cycling and also great VTT trails.
