Great place, peaceful, beautiful lake view, beautiful place to recharge, a beautiful path in the woods with the beautiful colors of autumn wowww, the cottage is super beautiful, clean and welcoming, our host Chantal is very nice, and always there to answer all our questions! What a beautiful cottage, it has everything for a great time. From the fireplace to the cooking equipment, nothing is missing!!! The atmosphere is warm, you feel at home there. We took a walk on the frozen lake and it was beautiful to discover, certainly in summer. Thanks for sharing it with us.

We had an amazing long weekend stay at Patricia's beautiful place! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, cozy, and well-maintained the space was. It really felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and just what we needed to unwind. We enjoyed every minute of our time here and appreciated the thoughtful touches the host provided. Communication was seamless and quick. Cristina's house rented for 5 adults and a baby. Very clean house, quality bedding, I didn't miss anything. Cristina had everything planned to accommodate an 11-month-old baby. House very close to the river St Maurice, quiet, beautiful view. I recommend it, as described and photo.

We loved spending Christmas here. What a nice surprise to find a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. We left a fun ornament to add to the tree. A little touch of Sanibel Island Florida.

Beautiful spot, convenient with everything you need!

First time traveling outside the U.S. and am very happy we chose to celebrate our 2 year anniversary at Melanie’s! Very quiet (the “busy” road other reviewers complained about was NOT an issue whatsoever). We slept very well on the comfy bed, fast internet, and had everything we needed. The bathtub/shower was amazing with great water temperature and pressure. I easily made coffee with the keurig and just made sure to pick up cream. You can hear the river and it was very relaxing. The smart TV has Netflix and other streaming services. Definitely worth the money. Close to Quebec city, a grocery store, hiking spots, pharmacies, and restaurants. Can’t wait to study French and come back to Quebec soon! :)

We had a great time at Sophie's place! Great for 2 people, in a very quiet place, by the river, minutes from Shawinigan, we were able to rest and enjoy the beautiful Mauricie Park (about 30 minutes by car from the Saint Jean des Piles entrance).

Even better than expected! The cottage was perfectly furnished, equipped and well decorated. The view is great

My friends and I had an incredible stay at Spamania. Staying here each year in March has become a treasured tradition. The hot tub and saunas are just divine and contribute to the relaxing environment.

We fully enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautiful and great value. The hot tub was wonderful. The location is excellent as long as you have a car and especially if you’re interested in going to Mont Ste Anne or Le Massif to ski. Beautiful river view. Worked very well for us and our two teens.

Superb cottage very well furnished, friendly and quiet. The exterior is sublime and it is simple and pleasant to enjoy at all hours. The kitchen is very well equipped and functional for the number of people. My group and I definitely recommend Chalet-ô ❤️

Outside for aquatic enthusiasts, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc... as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will delight you; the house is located in the heart of the village which is quite busy and noisy during the day (that's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You won't have a view of the lake from inside, you have to leave the house and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the house, no emergency exit, maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.

Sébastien is a considerate and welcoming host. The accommodation is impeccable and cozy. I would have liked to have stayed longer in order to enjoy the hammock area more. I would recommend it 100%. Thanks for our stay!

It was a lovely space to wait out the snow storm. Beautiful cottage and area.

All was as described and pictured. Very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. Location is 10 minute walk to ferry. Convenient way to visit Quebec. Great views of Frontenac Hotel.

We stayed there as a family one weekend. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home! The place is really welcoming, very clean and functional. I recommend it without hesitating. We'll go back.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful village of St-Jean-Port-Joli. The accommodation is really well located, you can't get better! A few steps from the river, its marina and all the other tourist attractions of the village. This is a 5*+ accommodation for the quality of the offer: good mattresses, bedding and pillows - superbly equipped kitchen - decor and furnishings more than perfect. It's up to date and well suited for small families. The host is very concerned about the comfort of the residents.

Our stay was ideal, the house is a real haven of peace. The HOT TUB in the snow is a real plus:)

The chalet is just perfect. The view is beautiful, the fireplace in the common square adds to the atmosphere and the mezzanine was more than appreciated by the children for their many games! The cottage is superbly organized to accommodate the total number of guests; many closed rooms, large spaces and huge dining table. I would highly recommend it.

Sublime location for a lot of tranquility, amazing view of the lake. We even had the chance to observe deer very ready due to the surrounding calm. Great!

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We felt so at home in their beautiful home and so appreciated their amazing hospitality. Thank you so very much. We will be back again and again!!!
