Lovely, welcoming casita for two in the tranquil Andalucian countryside. This is truly a place to unwind and relax. Walking and cycling tracks direct from the door. The village is 5 minutes drive away with 3 bars, serving delicious food. 15 minutes away is the lovely town of Huercal-Overa where you can find all amenities including supermarkets, restaurants and beautiful architecture in the old town where you can while away many an hour with a drink and tapa. I spent two weeks in Daniel's apartment in Puerte de Mazarro and felt completely comfortable. The apartment is very bright, clean and well equipped - nothing is missing. The view of the harbour and the bay is particularly impressive, which you can enjoy thanks to the large windows that can be fully opened, some even from the bed and the bathroom. Several small staircases lead to the various living areas - for me with a new knee joint, it is doable, but you should be aware of it. The location on the mountain brings a great view, but also the need for a car. There is also a footpath to the harbour, but with a lot of stairs. The host was available at all times and very helpful. I can fully recommend the apartment!
