I am an American who purchased this ancient home in the heart of the village Crezancy-en-Sancerre. There is a restaurant/bar and butcher in the village. Close proximity to Sancerre ( 10 minutes by car) Two wine domaine’s within walking distance for degustation. You have your own apartment space located in a grand old home from the 1800’s that was once a bar-hotel. You also have shared garden space to relax. This is a new listing for me here so continually trying to improve any guests stay.

O'gite Sancerrois

Completely renovated independent accommodation nestled between vineyards and forests. Departure for walks in the vineyards and forests at the foot of the vacation rental. Ideally located house in a wine village (18) in the heart of Sancerrois, 5 km from the Loire bike path. Village church classified as a historic monument. Visit the vineyards with tasting 200 meters from the cottage. An electric/hybrid car connection is available upon request and for a fee of €8 per day.

The Intendant’s lodging House

In the South of Loiret, Karinne and Patrick welcome you in the former Intendant’s lodging of the Vaizerie Castle. You have an own garden with terrace in the shade of a wisteria. Garden furniture and a barbecue are available. An organic garden with aromatic plants and seasonal vegetables is also reserved for the cottage. Among family or between friends, come to discover the flavors and the heritage of Giennois, High Berry and Pays Fort Sancerrois, near the Sologne region.

Traditional Sologne house nestled in the heart of a 10 ha estate of nature surrounded by pheasants, hares, deer etc. Woods, plains, pond. Bicycles available for rides. The house is 800 m from La Ferté-Saint-Aubin train station, easily accessible by train from Paris. Close to the castles of the Valley of the Kings (Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceau), Orléans, Blois, Lamotte-Beuvron, Center Parc, Beauval Zoo, etc. Hunting, fishing, horseback riding, hiking. Absolute calm.

In the heart of La Borne, a village of potters and ceramists, the apartment occupies the entire first floor of an old house. Flowered terrace overlooking a listed wood-fired kiln (table, chairs, deckchair), large living room with open kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower (separate toilet), bedroom with king-size bed. Visit the workshops, walk or bike ride in the forests surrounding the village. Swimming and canoeing on the Loire River are about twenty km away.
