The room layout is compact and features a living room, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom, tea room that can be used as a mini bedroom, private bathroom, toilet and washstand, and a beautiful Japanese garden. In the quiet afternoon, you can lie in the tea room and enjoy the beauty of the courtyard, adding a sense of comfort to your trip. The great location is one of the highlights of this homestay. Located in the Kyoto Station business district, you can take JR, Kintetsu and subway trains, as well as buses, to easily access major tourist attractions in Kyoto, as well as Osaka, Shiga and nearby cities such as Nara and Uji. The nearest station is Kintetsu Toji station, about 5 minutes walking. 20 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station, about 10 minutes by taxi. In addition, it takes about 16 minutes to walk to the subway station. 2 mins walk to Fresh Hiei, 4 mins walk to 7eleven, 5 mins walk to Matsuya, KFC, Japanese Izakaya, etc., life is very convenient.

Kyomachiya Private Rental "Takasegawa Shichijo" is an accommodation facility that has been fully renovated from a 115-year-old kyomachiya. The kyomachiya, which forms the beautiful scenery of Kyoto, has been redesigned as a building with high airtightness and thermal insulation performance, while retaining the original structure, so that you can enjoy a comfortable stay during Kyoto's unique hot and humid summers and harshly cold winters. From the Japanese-style room on the first floor, you can see the tsubo garden, which is designed to resemble a "roji" (*the garden that leads to the tea room). There is also a sofa in the hallway where you can relax and enjoy the view of the tsubo garden. In the evening, you can spend a relaxing time watching the illuminated tsubo garden. There are two bedrooms on the second floor: a Japanese-style room with two single beds and a Western-style room with two single beds. If there are 5 or more guests, we will set up a futon in the Japanese-style room on the ground floor for you to use as a bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and tableware so you can prepare simple meals.
