it was a beautiful holiday in a lovely and well furnished apartment. with a view of the ocean by day and the sound of waves by night. we really enjoyed joeys house and it was very convenient to have a restaurant next door. everyone was very friendly and we had a great and relaxing time. thanks!

The location is unmatched! You can safely walk to the mall and get all the things you might need. The pool was enjoyable and the view was unbeatable. It’s a suitable place to stay in Mombasa for holidays!

Ayan was a wonderful host! She welcomed us personally and showed us the beautifully furnished apartment. It was very clean and well maintained. Through her profile, we discovered fun activities and found great inspiration for our stay. She was very helpful, which made our stay much easier. I could reach her at any time, and she always responded quickly to my messages. The apartment is very bright, which we personally really liked. It’s furnished in a minimalist Swahili style, which added a unique and charming touch. If it’s available next year, we’ll definitely book again!

Anina is such a lovely hostess. Communicative, helpful and welcoming. Loved her “Local Gide” of fun recommendations in the area. Her African Art Suite was as beautiful as the photos -a dream. Decorated so tastefully with a serene view of the pool garden. Everything was cleaned and well organized. The housekeeper Nancy was sweet and the gate guard Godfrey was so fun and helpful. What a beautiful beautiful place. The pictures don’t do the house justice and Tiwi is a beach that is still as gorgeous as it was 30 years ago. No beach boys, no grief just lovely people everywhere. We snorkelled, swam in the pool, swam in the sea, played on the beach, rock pool hunted on the reef. Saw amazing starfish, moray eel, box fish and 3 types of sea hare as well as the “usual stuff”. We missed turtles hatching by 24 hours, but watched one come up to lay her eggs . The perfect place to spend a few days with the family chilling, talking and reconnecting. The verandah at the front is the best hub place. Then food - Anthony creates magic in the kitchen. Fresh fish, fruit and his tempura squid with coriander and soy sauce was delish. Fred the taxi driver is great and as a mixed family of 6 we could be as active and busy or not as we chose. The best way to end a trip to Kenya and as a previous resident it was perfect -Asante Tanya xx

I had a great time staying at Wangari’s Place. Everything was just as expected – clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it was a perfect spot to unwind. The Host was incredibly responsive. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Would happily come back!

Perfect vacation home for 6 people. Bedrooms had comfortable beds and great AC! Lots of space to spread out. Nice being in the resort for the service options. Great location near the beach! Patience was very responsive if we needed anything.

It was my second booking already! I felt absolutely like I am at home! I missed nothing! The housekeeping was on an agreement of both! We talked about when is it necessary and the housekeeping has been done 100%. The description on this page is exactly how it is! The beach, shopping center or a pub is only a short walk away! We had a fantastic stay at kiko’s beautiful Villa . The house is very nice clean, and well-maintained with tropical garden— perfect for a relaxing getaway. Kiko and Cathy were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, welcome meal were provided since we have arrive late: They went above and beyond by arranging a private chef (Eric)for us including shopping for all the groceries, and the meals were amazing! and also helped coordinate transportation to and from the airport. The location is ideal — just a 10-minute walk to the beach or you can take Tuktuk to the beach. The house also has its own private pool and a great garden outdoor where we could hang out and chill. We were a group of 7 families, and the space was more than enough for all of us. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. It’s 2 bedrooms apartment with comfortable beds. It’s very clean apartment and couple minutes a way from the beach. It’s has all the amenities I could as for such as utensils to cook and high speed internet. I’ll recommend anyone to rent. Thank you Maithya.

Traveling on a budget, my wife and I took a chance on this affordable gem, which offered exceptional value compared to the resort. Nestled in a stunning location, it’s ideal for those seeking an authentic experience immersed in the local community, unlike the more private, tourist-oriented resort. The highlight was our host, Pam, whose warmth and responsiveness went above and beyond. When we forgot our phone chargers, she generously lent us her own. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Pam’s Place for travelers looking for great value and a genuine connection with the local culture.

I love this bnb! this was my 2nd stay and won't be the last. whenever am traveling to mombasa this is my go to spot. the bnb is beautiful the decor is kool unique and stylish . the seller is the view!! it's what really draws me there each time. loaded with amenities pretty much everything you can think of is there. very comfortable sofa seating and bed. I literally have no complaints the only thing that could make it better is if it was in a more happening area but it's easy to get around with ubers. the host is amazing she always gets back to me with any concerns and rectified them. she definitely takes wanting us to have a good experience serious. pro tip . there is a store nearby on called food plus where you can get cases of water, snacks and even food stuff for cooking. the big thing is there is also a pharmacy and atm in that same Plaza. good to know because there is not an atm at the premises where you'll stay. cash is king.

Faith is a kind and responsive host. I always choose to stay with her when I am in Diani as I know I can count on her to always be available. The place itself is in the best location at Blue Marlin and next to Salty Squid, but also with fully equipped amenities. I would recommend to anyone!

I spent two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I booked, Abdirahman was communicative and friendly, sharing clear arrival instructions and local tips that made my trip seamless. The space itself was immaculate and thoughtfully furnished. I loved the comfortable king-size bed, and the fully equipped kitchen that allowed me to prepare breakfast. The Wifi was good. The location is a bit out of the way from local central attractions, but I was using the space as layover on my way to Kilifi so I really didn’t mind. Plus it offered privacy and silence that I needed.

The location was excellent—convenient, peaceful, and close to everything we needed. Brian was a very responsive and helpful host, always quick to reply and make sure we were comfortable. A special thanks as well to the lovely lady who assisted with cleaning—she was kind, professional, and added to the overall positive experience.
