This was such a peaceful place with a stunning view. We couldn’t have stayed at a better home.

Astrid and Arils were amazing hosts and their AirBnB was everything we were looking for and more. Clean, cozy, and with a fantastic view of the water. The kitchen was really well stocked too. My wife and I had a very rejuvenating time at the house and it was added blessing to get to talk with Astrid and Arils for a while on our way in. They are great!

Worth it for the gorgeous view across the fjord alone. Was a simple and perfect stop on our road trip.

We were delighted to stay at Gunlaug's place for a few nights. The place is spacious, clean, and the check-in very easy. Moreover, the surroundings are magic and close to many natural attractions. Finally, Gunlaug is very kind and helpful, she goes the extra mile to make us feel at home! Very much recommended, we will back :)

The house is absolutely beautiful. Everything is clean and comfortable. Great hosts. Communication was excellent. The views from the balcony are spectacular. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We have stayed in Bergrid's house for two days and enjoyed it very much. It is in a quite area, looking out over one of the inlets of the Hardangerfjord. There is a nice waterfall close by. With good weather you have good places to enjoy outside. Stores and restaurants are a bit further away, so get some supplies when you're on the way. The house itself has everything you need and there is sufficient privacy. You do hear some walking going on the higher floor, but not on an annoying level. We do recommend to stay here!

This is an apartment in a ridiculously beautiful location. You have a direct view of the Hardanger fjord. Unique and from the balcony you have a fantastic view. Supermarkets are accessible at 'normal' distances for Norway. When you go a little further away, you can visit incredibly beautiful places (waterfalls, a glacier, etc.).

This place was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, and the host was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. Honestly, one of the best stays I’ve ever had on Airbnb. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

Very friendly host and family. The place was very spacious and clean and felt cosy and like home. Wish we could have stayed longer. There are beautiful surroundings and some lovely walks nearby.

Very nice stay in a well decorated and functional apartment.

Stayed here spontaneously. Booked a few hours before arrival. Everything is completely fine, the house is slightly old, but everything is clean and ready to host. At the expense of the canopy in front of the entrance there is an opportunity to dry tourist equipment, a tent. Thanks

An absolutely wonderful location! The views of the fjord from the windows are lovely, especially during early morning hours if there’s no mist over the water. Highly recommend Wenche’s place, great for a multi-day stay. The kitchen is thoughtfully and well provisioned, we found everything we needed. Beds are comfortable, everything is tidy and clean. Just know that the 2nd bedroom is separate from the main suite but it’s easy to access. Also be mindful of a steep but short climb to and fro from where you’ll park your vehicle. We enjoyed our stay. This was our 2nd stay here. We have had a great time, with cross-country skiing and sledding for girls aged 4.5 and 7. The cabin is superbly located, both for skiing and with a short distance to parking. Sturla is a friendly and welcoming host who really wants you to have a nice stay. We're already looking forward to next time.

apartment 14 upstairs. the "postcard" view. it was beautiful. just for the view it's worth it. the hot tub and sauna was also a plus. for the rest of the apartment, there is a lot of kitchen utensils and cutlery missing. the shower area is very narrow. we were practically all alone, so the common areas were really nice. Alvik is very nice as a village and a lot to see around by car.

We loved our stay. We absolutely enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi, and also went kayaking. Unfortunely the bikes were all broken (flat tire/chain off) so we couldn't use them. Beautiful location to have some relaxation, went for cider tasting and enjoyed the perfect weather and trees in bloom. Exactly what we needed in the middle of our Norway trip.

This location is beautiful and peaceful. The amenities are great. Kayaks on site for use. Very peaceful and relaxing. Note the washer and dryer are in a closet on the short end of building as you drive in.

This was such a great stay! We loved our two days here, wished it would’ve been more. The area is lovely and the amenities are amazing, the sauna and jacuzzi work very well. We used the bikes and had an amazing day exploring the area. Definitely worth the stay, I would stay again. Communication with the host was very easy and very nice too!
