From Lakselv airport it is about 80 minutes by car and 90 minutes from Alta airport. The cabin is located about 150m from the main road, sheltered from other cabins without light pollution. The area is peaceful and offers good berries, northern lights, fishing and hunting opportunities. In winter there are nice skis/snowmobile conditions.

Hytten ligger 10 minutter fra Skaidi, 1 time fra Alta/Hammerfest og ca 1,5 timer fra Nordkapp. Det er et sentralt og godt utgangspunkt dersom man vil utforske alt Vest Finnmark har å by på. Innlagt vann. Sommer parkering: ca 70 meter fra hytta. Vinter parkering: ca 500 meter fra hytta. Man må da gå ca 500 meter til hytten. Gode sko, klær og hodelykt må medbringes.
