A good base for adventures in Tromsø and the surrounding islands. You can watch the Northern Lights dance from your own ground-level terrace, and keep an eye out for reindeer, which often roam through the neighbourhood, while you enjoy your morning coffee. Recharge your batteries at this unique and peaceful accommodation. A 25-minute drive from Tromsø, in a small village called Skulsfjord, you will find this cosy little house by the sea. Amazing views and a quiet area where you can enjoy idyllic mountains and natural surroundings. The Northern Lights season is from September to April. If there is clear weather, it will dance in the sky directly from the living room window. There are many great destinations for walking and boating that the host can provide information about if needed, and there are maps available in the house.

If you don't have a car, it's a short walk to the nearest bus stop with a direct bus that takes only 7 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes to "Jekta" (a large shopping centre) and 25 minutes to the city centre. The apartment In the apartment, you will find a private bedroom with a double bed. Living room with a sofa bed, TV with Chromecast and internet. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, fridge with freezer, everything you need for cooking, as well as a private bathroom with a washing machine.

Elvesus

You live 5 minutes from the airport, and yet in the countryside. A few metres from the sea and a river that flows into the sea here. Around the houses, you can spot many different animals. Reindeer often pass by. Moose can make a quick visit. Otherwise, otters and arctic weasels run around the houses. Seals swim in the sea, and dolphins occasionally. An excellent place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it's windless, they are also reflected in the sea. Tromsø city centre - bus, approx. 15 min.

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Perfect apartment for larger groups and family

The apartment is a part of a semi detached house, and rooms up to 12 people. Perfect for family vacations and larger groups. Very spacious with own porch and a lovely view over Tromsø. The bus terminal is 1 km. away, and a small shuttle bus serves the area during peek hours. There is free parking with room for several cars. We recommend renting a car. The house is close to a flood-lit track for hiking enthusiasts. It has a sauna which guests are welcome to use.
