We are traveling away and want to offer our home to holiday guests seeking tranquility and rural idyll❤️ Our old house is of simple standard, has rural charm and its flaws. From the living room you can enjoy the magnificent view of Storvik and Reisafjorden. If you can handle our old boat, you can borrow it and the life jackets that come with it. We recommend trout fishing in the foreshore, the beach and the hiking trails in the village. The city center is about 30 minutes away with everything you need! The national park is a great adventure that should be discovered!

There are good opportunities for hunting, fishing and mountain trips just nearby. The area has many hiking trails of varying difficulty and length. In winter, there are good opportunities for all skiing and snowmobiling activities with slopes nearby. Øksfjord is located about 30 km from the cabin and there you can take the ferry over to Sørøya which is Norway's largest island without a mainland connection. At the cabin you can see the northern lights dancing over the cabin on a clear winter evening or experience the light 24 hours a day on a summer evening.

In winter there are great opportunities for all ski activities and snowmobiling. Snowmobile trail starts just by the cabin area. The cabin is located about 90 km from Alta. Only 9 km to the store in Burfjord or Langfjorden. At the cabin you can see the northern lights dance over the Kvenanstinnene on clear winter evenings. As well as see when the whales enter the fjord and the golden eagle sail over the area.

Good opportunities for fishing whether it is in salmon rivers in the summer or sea fishing all year round. Perfect for those who like to go on randonee skis/mountain skis or regular cross-country skis. Snowmobiling is also an eldorado, approved trails from sea to plains. 25 km to the nearest town Storslett, takes 20 min by car. For those who hunt the northern lights, this is the perfect place.

The cabin lies in this beautiful vally in Øksfjord called Vassdalen. its surrounded by high mountains with many possibilities, in the summer there are many hiking trails of different difficulty and length. You can also fish in the freshwater about 80m from the cabin. In the winter you can start straight from the cabin to climb to high and wild mountains with lots of snow and extreme skiing, or you can walk in a light trail nearby.
