Holiday rentals with breakfast in Ku-ring-gai Chase

A beautiful house in a beautiful location with a fantastic host, well stocked with everything you’ll need. Lisa was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. Would highly recommend Possums Retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming sandstone cottage in Kurrajong. The house is spacious and surrounded by peaceful bushland, with lovely walking trails and a great campfire spot. We especially enjoyed the unique cowboy and vintage memorabilia that gave the place so much character. The kitchen was very well equipped, allowing us to cook hearty meals and really make the space feel like home. On our last night, we ended the trip perfectly with a cozy campfire and roasted veggies under the stars. A beautiful, remote getaway—perfect for the Easter long weekend and a much-needed escape from the busy city life.

Thomas’s place was central to Sydney city, but enough in the suburbs that it was quiet and peaceful outside. The bnb is the back of a Mosman property, small but has everything you need. The family has two small children so can be a little noisy of an evening but it really isn’t anything to be worried about, nights are quiet . The bed and couches were comfy and breakfast was provided for you. No extra sink/ washing up liquid to wash kitchen things, which was a little odd. But the bathroom one would be suffice if you were staying more than one night. The bedroom has a heater/ac and is spacious enough for two adults. Overall, the place is exactly what I was looking for, for one night.

Kim is an EXCELLENT Airbnb host! Even before we booked, she was incredibly flexible and responsive, making the whole process so easy and stress free. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was genuinely supportive throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, Kim and her family made us feel welcome and cared for. Her communication was prompt and thoughtful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The property itself is amazing, beautifully maintained, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. We felt truly supported and looked after, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you Kim!

Judy and Murray were impeccable hosts. They accommodated our booking at nearly the last minute for a week and communicated immediately. They asked about our preferences for breakfast and were kind enough to pick up a couple items for us ahead of time. Their home was easy to find and we had no problems parking, getting in, or using the space. The cabin has won awards for its design and is extremely cozy. The air/heating worked well, which was great for warm days and cold nights. We did have a small hitch with the WiFi while we were there, but our hosts did everything they could to rectify this issue; most of the problem was due to network upgrades being done in the area. Judy and Murray were amazing hosts, very gracious, incredibly responsive, and had lots of great suggestions for places to go and things to do. I recommend the walk to Crackneck lookout, which was a relatively easy walk (lots of uphill at the end) and a breathtaking view of the ocean!

Annie was very helpful, set up a baby cot before arrive, let us check in earlier and offered use of her pram knowing that we had children. Very inviting place in a great location

We had an extended stay at Alisha's property while doing renovations on our home, and it was a great experience. The property was clean and well presented, Alisha was always friendly, helpful and responsive, and it's in a beautiful quiet location close to the bus stop.

Our stay at Shane's apartment was excellent! Shane was helpful and responsive from the get go and directions/check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was clean, tidy and homey, with all the essential amenities and more. The Parsley Bay area was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and peaceful surrounds. It is an easy walk to Watson's Bay for seafood or a ferry ride--bus stop right outside the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend staying here to others and can't wait to return.

We loved our stay at Elise’s place . The unit was spacious , clean , close to the beach and restaurants . We took our dog which was amazing as Elise’s place has a private grass area he could run around and play . We will definitely be back

We were in Avalon for a family function and Aloha Avalon suited our family of 3 couples very well. Light, bright and airy, we felt very much at home during our 2 night stay.

Peta and Grahams home is an oasis and perfect for one person or a couple for either a short or longer stay. The space is immaculate and every thing has been thought of with care and consideration. The fridge filled with essentials was a lovely surprise along with the welcome letter and chocolates. Being a local I was very familiar with the area but this would be a perfect place for interstate and overseas visitors to have a sense of a bushland setting, proximity to beautiful middle harbour bushwalks, the creek bubbling away in the rear yard at the same time being very easy to access the Sydney CBD. Wonderful stay at Don’s— the neighborhood is beautiful, walkable, with so many restaurants, cafes and things to do. Easy access to transit to go into the city or to get to surrounding neighborhoods. Don was very responsive at all times. Would stay again!

Patrycja is a wonderful host. Very friendly, helpful, nice and very easy to communicate. It was a very nice surprise that Patricia supplied eggs, milk, butter, fruits, cookies, breakfast cereal etc. Studio apartment has a very spectacular view especially from a balcony. Location is perfect. Close to walking tracks. A car carport is very useful. We spent there three nights and had a wonderful time. For sure we will come back in the future.

It was great to stay here. The view was incredible and it was so easy to travel around the area for this place. Allan was really helpful and made sure our stay was really comfortable.

Had a great stay at Willa @ Mangrove mountain . Location was perfect, the place was just perfect for two of us. Most of all the surroundings, and all our furry and feathery friends were great company.. we had a great time feeding Daisy and all the chooks but most of all lil cheeky PJ … such a cute girl and loved her company. Darren and Kim were great hosts , very responsive and the place is just great to unwind, relax and get away from the city and relax around nature.

This Airbnb was an absolute oasis! It was the perfect place to decompress after busy times visiting family and exploring my hometown. The house itself was incredibly comfortable and perfectly set up for kids. We really appreciated the privacy and that it had everything we needed. Out of all our stops on a two-week trip, this was hands down our favorite. It truly delivered on that authentic "BnB vibe" with all the thoughtful little extras, which is something you don't always find on the platform anymore. Highly recommend!

Had an extremely wonderful stay at Harold’s abode! His hospitality and friendly nature helps in making you feel right at home! I enjoyed all the heartening conversations with him 🙂 I must also add that his two lovely pet dogs- Luna and Max are a delight to be around; calm and very playful. Coming to the room and amenities, everything is as described in the bnb post and we had no inconveniences whatsoever. We had a beautiful weekend away at Cox’s cottage. It was so quiet and the views, especially at sunset, were unreal. It was a great escape from the city to unwind for a few days! The cottage itself is so charming and Jeremy and Annette were very responsive.

Our nearly one-month long stay at this AirBnB was an exceptional experience. From the seamless check-in to the incredibly responsive and attentive hosts, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was not only clean and safe, but also made us feel right at home. We particularly appreciated the weekly housekeeping and the thoughtful replenishment of kitchen supplies.
