Rietkuil Farm Cottage (SELF CATERING)

Rietkuil is a third generation working - cattle, sheep and maize farm. Get away from the city rush and surround yourself with nature. Apart from the numerous farm activities, like milking cows the old fashioned way, there’s also 3000 ha to explore, cool off in the “plaasdam” and take a short walk down to the Otterspruit for a game of “kleilat” or try your hand at catching cat fish. Remember to pack your farm shoes, a good book, binoculars, excellent coffee and an expectation to wind down.

The Farm is a quick 2 hour 30 mins drive from Jhb on the N1 highway with a slightly challenging last 35km tar road with some potholes from Kroonstad.

The family unit is nice for a family, there are 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds and a sleepingcouch as big as a double bed. There is a fridge and microwe and aircon. We have Wi-Fi and Tv with 4 channels. There is lots of space for the children to play and swimming pool too.
