What a beautiful stay. Sally & Margaret were great! The treehouse is actually a hidden gem. The estate is out of the way of the crowds but close enough to everything. The treehouse has all the amenities you could need, it is spacious, furniture is comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and the whole place was clean! I would 100% go back and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for being such gracious and accommodating hosts!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay in the cottage on Ilze's Farm. Everyone on the farm was smiley and welcoming and very helpful. It is also very quiet and peaceful on the farm - a great escape from the noise of the city. Should I be back in the area, I would book in with Four Fields farm again

We had the most wonderful holiday! Kids were happy, food was excellent and the setting gorgeous. We visited the beach, horse rides and lessons were given and we were spoilt with delicious breakfast buffets daily. As a mother, I felt very relaxed. The Robberg Walk was also stunning and worthwhile.

This is the perfect spot for a big group to get together. The house is exquisitely appointed and there’s more than enough space to accommodate everyone’s needs. We were a mixed group of couples, couples with kids and single people and we never felt that we were in each other’s way. The location is perfect - remote enough to feel like you’re truly in the middle of nowhere, while still close enough to shops and beaches to not compromise on comfort. We will definitely be back! Amanda's place is a lovely get away from it all. Beautiful and safe hiking trails!! Nature at its best!! Amazing views all round and the best place just to have some peace and quiet. We will definitely be going back to Protea Wilds Retreat.

We had an excellent stay at Caroline’s cabin. She was a great host, very responsive, and lovely to chat to. The area is very remote but super peaceful. The outdoor shower is amazing!

We loved the place the minute we walked into the cottage. Everything you need (and beyond) is there and the view over the valley is amazing. Michelle's place also offers some amazing walks in the forest, and it is a great place for bird watchers. This is a place for nature lovers and it is super easy to immerse into it. Having said this it is still a very comfortable place and Michelle does everything to make that this feels like a home-away-from home. What a beautiful place and for sure we will book it again!

What you may feel is missing in luxury in the old farm house is more than made up for with the luxurious peace of the space and Adri's hospitality and generosity of spirit. She is a fantastic host and will make sure you are well looked after during your stay. The house is exactly as described in the listing and has everything you need for a comfortable stay plus little extra touches from Adri and her team. Make sure to visit Adri's Plaaskind Padstal for a roosterkoek breakfast or an afternoon tea with home-baked cakes to die for (the cheese cake, carrot cake and lemon meringue were our favourites!) Adri knows the area very well and has lots of recommendations depending on what you are interested in.

Peaceful vacation, functional home and friendly host. Stayed at Heidi’s home with kids and we LOVED our stay. The pool was a highlight and the parents really enjoyed the coffee maker. Great retreat for a few nights!

Our stay at Elephant View Homestead in Plettenberg Bay was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The freshly baked sourdough, honey from the farm and eggs from the chickens was the most thoughtful touch. The location is unbeatable—perched on a peaceful farm with breathtaking views of elephants roaming freely at the neighboring Knysna Elephant Park. Waking up to the sight of these majestic animals from our stoep was an unforgettable experience! Yet, despite the tranquil setting, we were just a short drive from Plettenberg Bay’s stunning beaches, amazing restaurants, and charming shops. The homestead itself is immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need (and more!). We cannot wait to return to this home from home...thank you Carrie and Laura for the most amazing stay!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Impressive location, incredible views, simply memorable the stay! Bettina welcomed us warmly, we immediately felt at home. The entire team was incredibly nice. Breakfast and dinner were very delicious. The atmosphere was always good. The rooms are very lovingly decorated and clean, large lounge area! Two cute shepherd dogs, totally sweet and trustworthy and totally playful! We'd come back in a heartbeat

We had an amazing stay at Protea Wilds! The view on the valley from the lookout terras is unbelievable and the perfect place for your morning coffee or glas of wine. Next to this, Amanda is a wonderful host that will make you feel right at home :)

The perfect house for our relaxing family get-away! A beautiful and tastefully decorated home, well situated with stunning views. Fantastic and well equipped kitchen which was greatly appreciated by my chef son-in-law, with both an indoor or outdoor dining area to choose from. There is also a great braai area set off to the one side of the pool which includes a fire-pit, with loads of comfy seating, which we really appreciated having been travelling for a while and just wanting somewhere to chill out and all be together. The bedrooms are incredibly spacious, with super comfy beds and each has an enormous ensuite bathroom. Bliss! We will definitely be visiting again, and will be staying longer.

Cheryl was a lovely, responsive host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her beautiful cottage. The space was immaculate, the beds really comfortable and the peaceful surroundings and amenities at the property were fantastic. We would definitely return should we have the opportunity to do so. This is a highly recommended spot! And Cheryl a wonderful host.

We had a great stay in this charming place. This unit is a bit more private than the others as you enter through a secluded gardened area. Ilze was has down the best and went out of her way to accommodate our family, thank you. Also worth noting that during load shedding the wifi stays on, portable battery powered lights are available and the stove runs on gas.
