Holiday rentals with a pool in Kota Samarahan

Cyril's place is amazing. We stayed for several days in July. Cyril is very helpful with local hints and advice. He goes above and beyond the role of host we went for dinner to a local smokehouse one evening so that I could try lots of local food. The location is a bit out of town but that's really not a problem it's 11-12RM in a grab to the centre and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a car. The pool is great to come back to on a hot afternoon and the shower was great. It is an unusual place, if you have an open heart and want to engage beyond a bland hotel room in a faceless block then Cyril's place is a gem.

We traveled with friends, and the six of us (four adults and two kids) stayed at Welyne and Gilles' home during our visit to Sarawak. We all had a wonderful time. The house is situated in a peaceful and scenic location, perfect for relaxing and recharging. It’s also conveniently close to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, about a 30-minute drive from downtown. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable with pool, and very well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Welyne and Gilles were excellent hosts—very friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the local culture, enjoy delicious meals, and take part in a durian tasting that Welyne kindly arranged. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to visit again in the future!

We had an amazing time staying at this homestay—it was truly one of the best experiences we've had as a family! The unit was clean, comfortable, and came with great facilities, also very impressive in terms of home safety. It came equipped with a modern digital lock system and secure access, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. especially the swimming pool which the kids absolutely loved. The swimming pool was a great bonus and perfect for family bonding time. One of the best parts also was the karaoke set – we had so much fun singing and spending time together as a family! The location is also fantastic—just a short walk to Vivacity Mall, making it super convenient to find food, restaurants, and do a little shopping. Everything we needed was close by, which made the whole trip stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

great place to stay

there is not much to say about this house, it’s perfect in all aspect. feels like home and very clean. for improvements maybe the host can provide “real” towel not the disposable one for guest stay 3 nights/longer and add more cutlery and glass since it has very view of them. nice stay 👍🏼👍🏼 hope to stay again next trip to kuching

location is quiet and relax. facilities is well maintain. just 10 min drive to airport.

Responsive host, great pool. Loved the food court below. Also check out Bone Daddy Cafe which is a board game cafe below. Be aware the key card powers the place like a hotel so if you leave something to charge (say an ipad) it won't.

We had a very comfortable one-night stay — the place felt homely and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The decor is tasteful and thoughtfully done, giving it a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. The location is excellent — very central and convenient, with a short cab ride away to both Kuching airport and the Waterfront. It’s a great option for families, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a short or even extended stay in the area.. 5/5 .

This apartment was just like the pictures, very clean and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. It was easy to relax here and at night time it was quiet. The pool area was nice, but the downstairs shopping mall is mostly empty. The location is good if you want to move around in Kuching with car or grab, since it’s kind of in the middle of everything. The host was friendly and responded quickly! Overall a good stay!

A great place to stay and well worth the money. The owner was very responsive to all requests. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

I need to post pix! The place was clean and complete, and BEAUTIFULLY decorated. Bathroom was excellent and amenities were great. Also, Jean-Yves was AVAILABLE for sudden needs. The aircon went afoul and started dripping. Jean-Yves was there in a flash to handle it. Also I somehow managed to drop the access card SOMEWHERE (I'm a doofus). Jean-Yves took time out of his evening to drive over with a replacement card. If I can find a way to post the pictures I took of the apartment, I'll do that (having some technical difficulties where I am though). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jean-Yves' place. I was totally comfortable living there.

saya sangat menyukai kawasan jln petanak ini, terutama condominium riverine diamond, sangat mudah diakses. seberang jalan banyak tempat makan yang enak², 7eleven juga ada, byk sekali hawker centre dan makanan lezat di area sekitarnya hanya denga jalan kaki 2 atau 5 menit. unit yg saya sewa juga sangat nyaman, AC dingin, water heater bagus, kamar bersih, view ke jalan raya sangat menyenangkan. next kalau ke kuching, saya akan kesini lagi.
