There is nice hiking terrain just outside the door. You can walk on trails in the fields, or take the car to popular destinations in the area such as the Pulpit Rock, Kjerag, Jærstrendene, Kongeparken, Sandnes and Stavanger.

Sleeps 6, but can arrange 1 mattress on the floor in the basement if desired for the 7th person. Here your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.
