Great spot, awesome set up for large group of people / family to spend time away together. super warm in summer.

We loved staying at Kate’s. Mingling with the other people camping/glamping in the communal areas was great. The house was perfect for our group.

Forest Lodge is the perfect get away for large groups. Huge kitchen, well equipped with anything you would need to feed an army. And great, cosy lounge. We were worried the bedrooms would be cold, but by following the instructions all went well and we were all toastie… no snow for us this time, but we look forward to coming back again next year! Thanks Samantha!

Perfect location to get away from the city life! It has an English feel to it, filled with lots of character! We were greeted by two very friendly dogs. I'd love to stay again in winter so I can use the huge log burner!

Such a beautiful place to stay on the coast. The house is lovely and had everything we needed to have a great stay. Hannah was great and so accomodating for our large group. We all loved the beautiful view of the native bush from the kitchen. This was our second stay and we very much enjoyed coming back with our friends. Thank you

Sarah is the kindest host and Marg’s Cottage was perfect for us as a base for two days. The fire was great and the Queen beds are super comfy.

I loved my time at Anthony's place. It is a beautiful location, surrounded by bush and with a river behind. Well fenced for dogs. I really appreciated being able to bring my furry family (dogs). Loved the covered porch for relaxing outside in all weather. Cozy and relaxing, would stay again!

Lovely place to stay for a few days at Hokitika. Walking distance to the beach and the centre of town. The house was very clean and welcoming. All rooms tastefully decorated and there were all the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay. would recommend!!

A great spot with a great view. It was slightly cold in winter, and the fireplace wasn’t operational, but overall a great vibe and very east hosts to deal with. Would come back

Terrific accommodation, real atmosphere. Underfloor heating in the bathroom even. Great place to stay for skiing or biking the mountains behind. Beautifully restored main house. Worth booking dinner at the property. Stately breakfast, in style.

A lovely spot in the countryside to wait out the weather during our fishing trip of the South Island. The doggies loved the fenced section too!

Great base for exploring surrounding area. The cabin was exactly as described, actually exceeded my expectations. It is easy to find and thanks to Gary's clear instructions simple to check in. Warm and comfy beds. Vinyl record player made our day!). Trains and road noise didn't bother us.

The place was a cute little place that was in an excellent location. It was handy to have a small kitchen & mini fridge to make easy meals. The bathroom was large and nicely decorated. We really loved the hot tub and sauna. The area felt like a spa.

Absolutely stunning, comfortable home in gorgeous surroundings. The outdoor bath was a winner and Lisa was so helful and fast to reply. I stayed at Lisa's with four friends over Christmas and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly reccommend, andvwould love to stay again.

The place is lovely and cosy with the fire on, spotlessly clean with lovely linen on the bed. Perfect for a rainy overnighter in Hokitika.

A quaint little place with so much charm! The space had plenty of amenities — the kitchen was well-equipped, and we were able to cook our own dinner comfortably. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We especially loved stargazing at night, managed to capture some beautiful photos! The bathroom and bed were both clean and comfortable. Overall, we had a very relaxing and peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Sailors catch and Claire the host was great with communication and sent us a great place for lunch. The views of the beach and sunset were awesome and we will be back to stay in the future 👍

Wow... That was our main word for this stay. The location and view was incredible. It instantly felt like a real relaxing getaway. We noticed some issues around cleanliness that I will share directly with the host so that they are aware, as this place deserves the best! The hot tub was an absolute highlight. Such a friendly and responsive host to chat to online. We had a fabulous time here and we definitely hope to return to this oasis on the hill!
